Update: it has been five years and we are still bringing our pet here. All interactions have always been great and we are thankful to have found a team with not only genuine compassion for animals but highly competent when needed. Recently we had a very sick 1 year old kitten. She went from fine to not in about 24 hours. 104.8 fever and not eating or interaction as she is such a people cat. Dr Starnes took wonderful care and began a solid approach to her care. He explained his direction as well as a plan B or C if needed. I liked that because we knew we had a sick kitten and it gave us time to prepare if his initial treatment was not enough. We saw small improvements the following day. Dr Starnes checked in as well. Our sweet Natasha (Tash) has continued to improved. I felt like the direction taken was perfect and all of the treatment plan played a roll in her feeling better. Thank you to the entire team who played a roll in getting our Tasha girl better.
2020 Just moved to Colorado and needed a new vet clinic for our senior pup Lucy. From the start of the communication with Parker Center animal clinic was great. I was able to ask questions about the clinic as well as voice my concerns with my senior pup. I didn’t want to just make apt on line. I appreciate their safety protocols in place. Upon my arrival there was An assistant to the doctor who came and chatted briefly and collected Lucy to bring her inside almost exactly at my apt time. I didn’t wait long before Dr Zier came to review Lucy’s exam. We both agreed some senior labs were important but I never felt pressured. I had her back in the car and on our way in at most an hour upon arriving. A few days after I received a call back from one of the regular Dr in the clinic, Dr Noon, and he went over our labs. I really liked his kindness and consideration of her age of being 15. He took time to review her records sent from Las Vegas and gave his opinion accordingly. It seemed like he was invested in her as his patient, and he had not even seen her yet. I will definitely continue to use them and for sure recommend them if...
Read moreWe love Dr. Starnes and Dr. Larson so patient and loving to my fur babies and cares about the owners as well doesn't treat us like we aren't a number or be so nontilate about things they go the extra mile to be the best our fur babies and my fur grand baby !! Chico, Nala, Grizzly and Cheech. We recently had our Bigger dogs neutered and spayed and I was so happy with Dr.Starnes on the surgery. Cheech has separation anxiety and he helped him with that, a much better baby less stressed and enjoys his dog life much better now. Along with gastropexi surgery a preventive for their tummy’s with bigger breeds this prevents issues of their stomach flipping causing extreme bloating and ending up killing your animal. He is always looking after your pets.
Our one Pom Grizzly who is 14 has cancer and he didn’t treat us like we needed to put him down right away. He is doing pretty good and he’s on CBD to manage the cancer in pain and discomfort and Chico age 12 has diabetes and he didn’t suggest we put him down like our old vet did, grizzly and Chico were both diagnosed with their issues last October and November.
If you want someone that will spend his time and look after your Fur babies he’s the doctor and this is the place I would recommend. Cheech now loves coming here and he’s not scared he had a bad experience with his old vet. Nala loves Dr. Starnes and the staff here, they all do!! We Love this place it feels like home for our family. 😎😎🐾🐾🐶🐶🐶🐶 this is the only Vet place I trust. I uploaded new photos of our babies. Dress up time and just having fun their all photogenic The brand new pups will be celebrating their one year 🎂 August 10th !! I can’t believe a yr has already gone by. Your animals are your furbabies they deserve the best !! ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐶🐶🐶
We recently had to put down two of our babies Chico and Grizzly they are no longer with us they crossed the rainbow bridge miss them dearly and the staff went out of their way for the...
Read moreGreat experience! We chose PCAC for spaying our Havanese Annie because they offer laser laparoscopic spays and seem very comfortable doing them on smaller breeds. We actually drove from central Denver to Parker just for PCAC because we were so impressed with their website and willingness to answer questions over the phone. The whole staff was very kind to us!
Dr April was great and took the time to sit on the floor and win my dog's trust in our initial appointment. She didn't make us feel judged for all our questions or for waiting til a year old to spay our puppy to let her develop a little more (our regular vet started laying on the guilt at 6 months on the dot). She even said she'd spare Annie's coat on her leg if she could- I know it's vain but I'm planning to show her in a pet category soon, and full coat is required, so it is important to me- and she did! You could barely tell Annie was shaved at all.
The actual procedure was incredibly well done. I really appreciated the text updates about the status of Annie's surgery. She was in and out and came home in good shape around 4pm despite having been put under. Her incision was SO teeny- maybe only 3/4 inch?- and you already can't tell it was there. She was up and running within just a couple days. She felt so good we really had to work to keep her quiet! The laser incision is super clean and already looking fully closed within 10 days. All in all a great experience, I would DEFINITELY recommend PCAC to those looking for a less invasive spay option, and would go out of my way to go...
