1 star is being to kind for this location. Ordered a pizza and it still didn’t show up after 2 hours of waiting when it has an hour to hour and half wait time. When I called the store to find out what was going on I talked to a customer service agent named Danny who said Door Dash did not show up on time to deliver my pizza, btw if I wanted to use door dash for deliveries I would have ordered through them, I pay extra to deal straight with Papa Johns instead of a third party deliver service. At this point Danny stayed that they would have to remake our pizza and deliver it to us with another half hour wait time, which I didn’t trust after waiting 2 hours already, and no discounts were offered. I asked to speak with the manager who’s name was Matt and he didn’t offer any discounts either and said he was too busy to talk to me at the time. At this point I was very disappointed with them after ordering pizzas from the exclusively for a number of years, I asked Matt his name again just to make sure I heard correctly and he stated “its Matt, would you like me to spell it out for you, it’s M, A, T, T”, very rudely then told me he didn’t have time for this and hung up on me. I proceeded to call the corporate office after that to file a complaint on the store and specifically Matt as he does not represent company well unless they have changed there values to treat the customer like this. I will not be ordering pizza from papa johns any more unless Matt is removed from this position. I am waiting to hear back from the area manager on this situation and will update google when I do. I know this is not the way Papa Johns conducts there business as I was an employee there for many years during high school, and if Matt is the kind of leaders they promote at there company and reflects there values going forward I will choose not to order from them anymore. I can’t imagine working for a leader like Matt that treats his customers like this, imagine how he must treat his employees. First and foremost, I don't find it the least bit surprising that the overwhelming majority of reviews at this location are so low. However, I do wonder how much money this branch is costing Papa John's on a regular basis considering that this location is completely fine giving away money and food for every order they've messed up.
I've ordered from this location five times in the last half year and my order was only correct once. Unfortunately that order took over two hours to arrive.
I've held off on reviewing the location based off my sour experiences in hopes that maybe new management would step in or new staff would right the common errors.
Their current manager; "JJ" is clearly unfit to run this store or deal in customer service whatsoever. In my experiences; when alerting him to the situation of an order being incorrect or missing parts he has interrupted me and outright denied responsibility for forgetting vital parts of the order that were paid for. When requesting that the missing part of the order be delivered or refunded for the difference, he told me that he would be happy to let me come pick up what's missing. When asking if he planned on refunding the delivery fee to compensate me driving to pick up the rest of the order they forgot; he abruptly hung up on me. When calling back to try to right the situation again, he pretended not to be there so he didn't have to talk to me. I gave up on this location after that.
For the record, this isn't a review of Papa John's. It's a review of this particular location and the management. I hate leaving one star reviews but sadly it needs to be done to get the point across and it would appear that I'm not alone in this with a quick glance at the other reviews. I'm sure others as well as I would love to do business again with this branch in the future, but the people need to see improvement before...
Read moreI have been working at this papa johns as a driver for a while now, and I love it here. Most of the customers are very nice and my coworkers are amazing! Please understand that we try our best to deliver pizzas on time, but we can’t always make it on time, especially when we are really short staffed. None of us want any of our customers to be unsatisfied or have a negative experience ordering from us. We truly hope those of you who have had a negative experience reconsider giving us another try.
As far as the negative comments that were made about the manager, Matt, I’m sorry for your experience, but I enjoy working for him. He does treat his employees well, so I’m really shocked about the negative comments that were made here.
For the record, the incident that John described with Brendan, is not accurate. He had called in and was instantly rude and condescending when ordering his pizza. This is why he was placed on hold and Brendan got on the line to assist. He then continued to be extremely rude and condescending to Brendan, which is when Brendan politely said something about his behavior. I was actually standing right there and witnessed the entire situation. John was rude right off the bat for no reason.
