Completely Kentucky — Attraction in Frankfort

Not only is Completely Kentucky a reason to stop in Frankfort, it's a reason to visit Kentucky.

Driving from Nashville to Cincinnati, I needed to take a break and walk for an hour. I chose Frankfort and decided to walk around the historic district. My chosen route incidentally included walking past Completely Kentucky. Who am I to resist an arts and crafts store?

I was blow away. Completely Kentucky features the work of 650 different Kentucky artisans. Not only is the variety and volume of merchandise unparalleled, when it comes to wood and ceramics, Kentucky knocks it out of the park.

I spent an hour in the store and walked out with $400 of merchandise. On my next visit I plan to be prepared to spend a great deal more than that and to also bring an empty suitcase.

Please note: This is not a store where you will "get a bargain." Their merchandise is fairly priced, which includes supporting the costs of supporting a brick and mortar. When it comes to crafts, there is no substitute for seeing merchandise in the flesh, so there is no way to get around that. Personally, I couldn't be happier to help support artisans in Kentucky. I cannot recommend Completely Kentucky to everyone! I own a vacation rental nearby, and I was on a bind trying to find a special gift for my guests. Hermalyn came to the rescue and went above and beyond in order to help me! She not only got my last-minute order ready extremely fast, she also bought got items for me that were from the farmer's market! Five stars are not enough! We have to visit every time we’re in town. Amazing selection and wonderful staff. Amid the pandemic they have taken every precaution so you feel safe while shopping.
