We stayed in the 2-bedroom suite (Room 401) with friends, and unfortunately our accommodations did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, the room had a strong, moldy odor. The windows couldn’t be opened since they had no screens, leaving us no option for fresh air. Maintenance initially told us nothing could be done, and only after pushing were we moved temporarily into two separate rooms with the promise that our suite would be addressed.||The next day, despite explaining we would be gone all day and unable to move our belongings ourselves, management messaged us to return our items to the suite as the temporary rooms were needed. When we returned that evening, our things had been moved back, and we were hit with an overpowering smell of Febreze from multiple plug-ins, along with two dirty dehumidifiers running in the room. While the air fresheners gave us headaches, the underlying musty odor persisted. We had to empty the dehumidifiers ourselves as they weren’t being monitored.||With no alternative rooms available, we spent as little time in the suite as possible. Unfortunately, the noise from paper-thin walls and street sounds made even sleeping uncomfortable—we could hear alarms from other rooms as though they were in our own.||On the positive side, the hotel has a fun vibe, the bar and speakeasy were fantastic, and the bartenders and staff downstairs were truly wonderful. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere there far more than our actual room.||Overall, while the location and bar staff were excellent, the lack of care from management regarding our room issues left us very disappointed. Sadly, this was not the experience we had hoped for, and we will not...

I will never try to book with this hotel again. We booked a room for what was supposed to be $94.00. once the conformation came through it was$195.49. I called the number and asked why it was double price to find out they added a $79.00 cleaning fee and the other $22.00 was some other fee. This to me is a scam. We finally got confirmation that we will be refunded the entire amount after spending almost an hour and fifteen minutes on hold. We had to call directly to the hotel to get it approved. The online booking service said these charges were on the website even though we didn't see it anywhere on the website. It showed the total amount but no mention of any extra charges. They have lost a good customer as we travel frequently and would have been back had they not tried to scam us. Pictures are of my total time on the phone trying to get my refund and a different room but as an example of what the website shows.

Update: I returned to the website and I did see the breakdown of the charges but the check out process never brought this up for review to make sure that you know that you are being charged double. It didn't show me any of the breakdown. I would have had to scroll down to the bottom of the page to find it and it should have shown that before I finalized my...

Get a glimpse at The St. Clair hotel located in the heart of downtown Frankfort, KY. I highly recommend it if you decide on touring any of the bourbon trails. 🥃 #visitkentucky #bourbontiktok #hotelstay #creatorsearchinsights @Visit Frankfort

This was our third trip to the The St Clair. We came for the Witches night Out event and to visit nearby distilleries. We absolutely love the St Clair. All of the staff at the Howser are amazing and make you feel like family. Patci always makes the best drinks and food with love. We have enjoyed stays in different rooms and all have been great. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The St Clair itself is located in the downtown area of Frankfort and is close to everything. Several dining options are within walking distance and most of the distilleries are a quick drive away. If visiting, always end your day at the Howser, comparing the days finds with new friends and enjoying a pour.
