Games Workshop — Attraction in Franklin

Been coming here most weekends of 2019. If you like Games Workshop brand this store is a lot of fun. It is a smaller store of this type, compared to the Turkey Creek one in Knoxville or the one that used to be in Opry mills. This means the inventory can't have a large amount of the more obscure items. The staff is happy to help you order for in store pick up. There is 1 painting table, 3 open gaming tables, and if you ask you can use the demo tables as well. In the back their is additional scenery that can be setup. Plus the staff are very open to questions and can work as mediator if there is a dispute during your game session. The store is very responsive to the community. Adjusting hours during the summer or shifting date on events if their is a strong will in the community. The Facebook page is kept up to date and on average their is at least 1 event happening per week. If you are thinking about starting the hobby they will discuss your options with you. Teach you how to assemble a model. Teach you the Citadel painting systems. You'll walk away with 1 model and a good idea of what your getting into. As for the prices their is a bit of a premium on items. This is to allow for all the other things you can do in the store for free. The community is friendly. We love this store. Not only do they have a wide selection , Steve and other players are so friendly and help you purchase what you need. We have never had such great customer service. This place is warm and welcoming and feels more like a family than a business. My shy 16 year old has come out of his shell. He loves playing in the weekend tournaments held there. The owner works his tail off to get whatever you need. I wish I could give this place 10 stars

Adding - still awesome store I can't say enough great things about Steve who manages the store. He is so helpful and engaging. He goes above and beyond to help you. My two boys have been going to Games workshop for over 2 years. Steve is always patient and a wealth of knowledge when purchasing paints and supplies/ kits. Almost every Games Workshop store I've been in has been excellent, but the Nashville/Franklin store is among the best. Robby is one of the best store managers I've met at any gaming store! He has an excellent knowledge base of every single product he has in his store and can assist with any purchase you make. Whether you're coming in for a specific product or need some assistance picking a model or gaming system, you will find the support you need to make the best choice possible here. I do wish there was a touch more gaming space, but that's a situation that's easily rectified and not typically an issue, especially if you join one of the gaming Facebook groups to schedule or plan games.
