Carroll Creek Park is one of my favorite places to visit in Frederick, MD. The whispering creek is peaceful and charming. Children and pets enjoy a refreshing dip on hot summer days. Wildlife congregate including fish, ducks, geese and the occasional blue heron. Beautiful by day and majestic by night. Visit at both times of day to fully absorb its beauty and historical heartbeat.

The water fountains add a nice light mist on hot days. Great restaurants and shopping at downtown area. Entire length of walking path is about five miles from end to end.

This is such a nice place to take a walk. Playful fountains, historic buildings, beautiful landscaping and delicious restaurants all for you to enjoy. For a microbrewery experience park over by Attaboy, then walk to Brewer's Alley, then back. It will take you by all the scenery and history and let you walk...
