I thoroughly enjoy Belgian beers so it's quite a treasure to find a Microbrewery close to home that respects and crafts the great styles of beer from that country. Saisons, Grisettes, and Strong Belgians dominate the taproom. Brian and his wife Carly have been hard at work since 2016 establishing a loving relationship with the town of Frederick and it's myriad of beer drinkers. The results are speaking for themselves.
You'll find food trucks in the parking lot and a steady stream of visitors rolling in from beer tour buses. The taps rotate almost as frequently as the patrons. It's a popular and vibrant stop on the outskirts of downtown.
Attaboy is a small brewery. Much smaller than Flying Dog; even smaller than Monocacy just up the road. It's literally Mom and Pop living their passion. Some could say it's the American dream in progress.
Stop by and sample a flight. Take a tour, or as I experienced it, a proud story about challenges, passion, humility, and success proclaimed from the...

While I was catching up on work, the staff was setting up for pumpkin carving and people started to filter in: it seemed like everyone knew someone. As the out-of-towner, I felt like I was part of the local community: kids, dogs, couples, solo people, and families were all were coming to the local brewery for a fun activity. Very Stardew Valley.
Because I was such an oddball person there, the staff even offered me a drink on the house! When I come back for my next training, I'm definitely stopping by this...
ย ย ย Read moreWow what a great up and coming place. A bit out of the way from downtown and main street it's located just a few min walk up the creek past the Marc station. If you drive they have plenty of parking. The place currently has 5 beers to choose from all pretty good but my fav would have to be the red IPA and "lunch break"
They don't serve food here but have a snack bar that uses the honor system with a cash cup. They have many different board and card games to pick up and use. There are a couple of TV's showing different sports games too. The servers are awesome, helpful and really open to knowing what you think of the beer.
I can't wait till the spring and summer for an easy walk up the creek to visit this place more often, try it out you...
