We had a bad experience! We came from Florida and decided to go to the mall. When we got there my sister went into the fitting room to try some clothes. There was no one there at the fitting room or any sign saying we couldnât use the fitting room. We had no idea it was off limits, so she went in and left her purse by accident . We didnât realize it til we got in the car. We called the store and politely asked if they could look in the fitting room for us. The lady was very rude and kept questioning us about using the fitting rooms. She kept saying âare u sure?? Itâs closed so how?, are u sure? We doubt it cause the fitting rooms are closed, why would u go in if itâs closed, there should be signsâ we told the lady mam I understand itâs closed but we didnât know , there were no signs , tape or employee to let us know itâs off limits, so can u please check the fitting room. She left us on hold for like 2 min and told us they didnât find anything and we didnât loose our purse with them cause like they said itâs closed. So we drove back to the mall to check ourselves . The lady at the cashier told my sister they didnât her purse and they couldnât find it . Meanwhile My sisters boyfriend snuck into the fitting room and FOUND THE PURSE!! He walked up to us with the purse extremely upset that they would lie about looking for the purse. If we had took the ladyâs word she wouldâve never gotten her purse back and wouldnât be able to go back to Florida cause all she had was her debits, credit cards and license. We told the manager but she didnât seem like she cared . All she said was âooh .. well Iâm sorry that happened to u..yeahâ she seemed like she didnât care to do anything about it. Me and my sister assumed it mightâve been her on the phone đanyway yâall are rude af and are liers. If u lose something donât take their word for it just go find it yourself even if it means sneaking into the...
Read moreI donât even know where to start!!!! There arenât enough cashiers and they wonât hire new people I think. we asked around some of the employees that work there and no one seem to help us. All they did was point insight over there, but we came across a girl named Angela, who was very sweet nice respectful and helpful. I have a child who is death and Angela was able to communicate with her with sign language. She helped her finding the fitting rooms restrooms and explain the sizing to her. When I reached my daughter, my daughter was very pleased that someone was able to help her and explain to where things were. But when we got to pay, there was a long line with only two cashiers on each side and when we asked for more cashiers one of the managers said she couldnât do anything about it. My daughter said that it seemed that they were yelling at Angela because she looks very upset. I think they should hire more people who can help people with disabilities or at least train or educate the workers there so they donât make people with disabilities feel bad about a birth defect. The people in the fitting room are also very rude if there was any way that we could prize Angela for what she did for my daughter that day we would like more information on her. We ask the manager, but they said they didnât know who she was, but itâs unbelievable how you donât know who your own workers are the lack of energy. Some of these workers have is embarrassing in these managers are very rude at least out of what we could see. thank you Angela and we hope we get to come across you again. You are an angel sent from...
Read moreI've been shopping at this Primark since it opened after getting hooked during my semester abroad when visiting a friend in London. I've always found some nice new additions to my wardrobe, and of course, a few things that fell apart after a few wears. Primark runs both ways, but it has always been a go-to and a worthwhile trip even if you find just a few things at such low prices.
However, I visited the Freehold store for the first time since November a few weeks ago and was shocked at some of the changes. Perhaps the company isn't doing as well as expected in the US, but the once large and spacious Freehold store is now a shell of itself, roughly half of its original size. For example, the home and health & beauty departments went from being medium sized sections to just a few small racks. The returns and exchange department is completely gone, and there is one checkout area left from the three that used to be here. For a Sunday, the store was packed and there was tons of traffic and it's difficult to navigate the store's new L-shape. The men's selection is still decent, and I walked out with around $60 of new items, but it feels like a completely different store. Such a shame, because I always loved coming to this one.
Here's to hoping the Staten Island store doesn't suffer the same fate. That store is honestly worth the bridge fare and distance from Hudson County compared to the tolls to come to this newly...
