As a loyal customer to this specific Olive Garden location for the past 5 years. I’m extremely disappointed in the way my husband and I were treated Friday night 2/23. We walked in to place a take out order. Alex took our order and when he repeated the order back to me, I said no one of the entrees is wrong. I want Fettuccine Alfredo, Not the Tortellini Alfredo. He said he fixed it and I was told it would be about 15 minutes. Perfect, we sat at the bar so we could order a drink while waiting and watched the basketball game that was on. After 30 minutes had passed and we saw some of the to go orders just sitting in the back and so I asked the front if I could have an update on my order. Within 5 minutes they brought out our order. Upon receiving the order it was still wrong and prepared with the wrong entree. This was a bit frustrating as we corrected the employee previously and have already waited 30 minutes when originally being told it would take 15. We then had to wait an additional 5-10 minutes for them to fix the order. One of the employees working the to- go order tickets called us over to pay as she explained to the manager what had happened. My husband asked the manager if the bill was fixed as we didn’t want to be charge for the wrong meal. Elizabeth Cahill the Manager said in an rude, aggressive and quite honestly disrespectful tone “Well you haven’t even paid yet, so how can you be charged wrong…”, My husband asked a simple question that we do not think deserved such a rude response to. We then mentioned to her we were told it was only going to be a 15 minute wait, which had now turned into 45-50 minutes. Her response was “Well there’s actually 8 orders ahead of you.” We understand there’s other orders, this is a restaurant. However telling someone it will be out in 15 minutes and then it actually takes 50 minutes does not leave customers happy. Then after paying she did not hand us a receipt but verbally confirmed that she handle it already. So there was no proof that the error was actually corrected.
Her tone and attitude was rude and disrespectful, there was no responsibility or apology about the situation which left us appalled. The worst part was that we finally got home and ate the food and within an hour we were both sick and throwing up.
We love Olive Garden however we will not be going back or supporting this location as long as this Manager is in charge. Also I do not recommend this location to anyone unless you want a side of attitude...
Read moreTwo weeks ago, my family and I dined at Olive Garden in Freehold, NJ. We arrived at about 6:30 pm on a Friday night and were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered 4 alcoholic drinks total, which were all delicious. We ordered a 2-choice sampler appetizer (fried lasagna and mozzarella sticks) while we waited for our entrees, which were ok. The mozzarella sticks were missing the sauce topping and the fried lasagna didn’t have much flavor. As usual, we ordered the salad and breadsticks to snack on. The salad was tasty, and the breadsticks were warm, but the breadsticks did not seem to have as much flavor as they have in the past. For our entrees, my husband and I both ordered Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti, while my older son ordered spaghetti with butter and a side of meatballs and my younger son ordered mac and cheese with french fries. The chicken parm was very yummy, made perfectly. My older son enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs, and my younger son (who, again, as I mentioned in a previous post, is very picky), enjoyed the first three bites of his mac and cheese and then decided he didn’t like it anymore. I was able to coax him into eating about six more bites, but that was all I could get. We did not order dessert because we were stuffed from the appetizers, entrees and drinks. We were able to conveniently pay for our bill at the table on their electronic device, which was nice instead of waiting for the waitress to collect payment and return to the table. We will...
Read moreVery disappointed. Superbowl night so very few people. Only 4 other tables in our section and 2 in front section. Had to wait a fairly long time for waitress to come to our table. My soup came out but not my husband. She didnt ask if I wanted cheese. By the time his soul came we needed drink refills and more bread. He did not get a spoon with his soup. We waited over 20 min for the bread. She asked us several times if we needed anything. How about the bread? Its cooking. After 20 min I think it may be done. Nope. We get our entrees but still no bread. We figured out as she brought our drinks to order another right then and not wait. Good move on our part. Finally bread! I needed to use the restroom. That was so horrible. I'm handicapped and go to that stall. Looked like a diaper hanging out of toilet. 3 other stalls all with toilet paper hanging out except for one filled with poop everywhere. We told our trusty (haha) server she says she will tell someone right away. Since we were her only customer at this point I'm not surprised it took her 7 min to tell someone. I know this because she said I just told someone. She was very sweet girl but I would rather have a server who was more attentive to us. She constantly apologized for being so slow and forgetting things. Our last visit to this location was equally as bad. I can say that this was last straw. We will never go back. Ever. If you are considering going to olive garden dont go to...
