Seven middle school children with mild to moderate cognitive disabilities. We went to eat at Joe's Pizza.. they took very good care of us. Then we went to Twice as Nice. They also greeted us with kindness. The people at... Wagner's even gave the kids pencils!! HOWEVER, JET'S BEAUTY SUPPLY did NOT greet us. When the kids started looking around the woman who proudly called herself "the owner" yelled at me to stop letting the kids touching everything. She then told me to "control the children." Control them? What am I doing, walking them like dogs?? When I told her I would be sure to let everyone know how welcome we were made to feel in her store, she told me to, "SHUT UP." Yes, the owner of JET'S BEAUTY SUPPLY TOLD A TEACHER, IN FRONT OF HER YOUNG STUDENTS, TO "SHUT UP!" She also said she, "OWNS THIS STORE, AND DOESN'T CARE IF SHE LOSES MY BUSINESS."
