Tattoos By Advance — Attraction in Fremont

Advance is the one and only tattoo artist I have had and I will keep it that way for as long as possible. Had my first piece done when I was 16 (with parental permission) and just had my half sleeve finished up on 5/30/2024 (20+ years later). Goes above and beyond and each piece that I have. I bring him the concept and give him artistic leeway and the end results is always beyond anything I could have designed myself or even thought of.

I can't speak to how pricing compares to others because I've never shopped around and know quality work from years of experience is priceless. The nicest and most professional guy possible but will be honest with you if something you want won't work or won't look good in the years to come. My recommendation, don't argue with his advice because he's looking out for your best interest.

Safety and sanitation is top notch. I've spent many hours in the chair and still donate blood on a regular basis without issue. He is the true hidden gem when it comes to the tattoo world in Fremont. You would never know his shop existed unless someone told you or you've been there before. Ignore all the shops that advertise everywhere, feel the need to have a storefront on a main road and/or are staffed by young kids looking to get you in and out as fast as possible to make as much money as possible. He did a GREAT job with my tattoos. My most important one was the K9 Frenzi tattoo, playing "tribute" to my beloved K9, Frenzi. She was the best dog and I lost her too soon.

He also sketched her head and ears.

He added the WV to the umbrella tattoo I already had as well.

He not only did a GREAT job, but he was SUPER patient with me as I nit-picked the finest details of my designs and placements.

He even made my dog's memorial tattoo better by making her the wing design even better than the original design.

I'm so glad I found Advance and his shop for my newest piece. I've waited a little over 10yrs to get another because I wanted to be sure of my new artist. I got a "simple" bohr model in a smaller size and he did amazing clean lines and perfect small lettering. This speaks to his experience and professionalism as I've seen much higher priced locations botch similar pieces because they didn't know how gentle you have to be to get that crisp look.
