Chris and the crew at Vinyl Ink are top notch. They're honest, competent, and professional. We've used them for a vinyl wrap, vinyl lettering, paint protection film, and now magnetic car door signage. All have been great options. Mentioned before but we (happily) drive from San Francisco bc the service is so good and we end up saving time bc everything is done right the first time.
4th update 3/2025! Once again, I cannot recommend Jeanine and Chris's team enough! Simply put, I can TRUST them to do the work perfectly - and I'm pretty particular. The amount of confidence it gives to know what you ask for is what you'll receive is such a benefit - and just lowers your stress level and saves so much time in the long run. We ordered some magnetic car door signage. Process was easy, straightforward, just like you'd expect. When they arrived by mail, they were perfect.
3rd update: 8/2022. We used Vinyl Ink to apply paint protection film to one of our (non-wrapped) vehicles about a year ago. Application was excellent, price was very reasonable, and their attention to detail was phenomenal. Rock chips just seem to be easier to get the last five years and that's why we went the PPF route on the forward-facing panels of a personal vehicle. The film is holding up great and most importantly, it's protected the car
Update: 6/1/2018
We used Chris and his crew again for a new work vehicle and once again, they're amazing. They made some significant design changes and customized it for our Honda Fit. Our Ford work van was a large wrap a few years back while the Honda was lettering with our logo, name, contact info, etc. -- one is an eye-catching billboard, the other is subtly professional. Vinyl Ink can do it all, I have to say.
Coming from San Francisco, I likely drive past a dozen of his competitors to see Chris in Fremont. The extra gas and time are costs I happily pay for the quality at Vinyl Ink.
Original post from 2015(?)
Background: Vinyl Ink did a partial wrap for a Ford work truck -- we're a new small business and wanted a nice mobile billboard for people to see.
Chris's team did the design -- they looked at our business cards and website (which were done professionally) and created a design which flowed seamlessly. It really looks like one designer has done all our work.
Cost is always a factor with a business and we discussed different options that gave us the most bang for the buck. And, of course, there weren't any surprises when the bill came -- it was the same as the quote. Also, we found the vinyl wrap a better cost option than auto body work since the work truck had a couple of cosmetic dents which were far less noticeable after the wrap.
It's been almost a year since the wrap was put on -- admittedly, I thought I gave Vinyl Ink the 5 star review they deserved a long time ago but realized I forgot.
Anyway, the wrap has been on for a year and it shows no sign of wear and just as importantly, I have had a number of people comment about the quality of the wrap and the design. First impressions count and it immediately makes a business of any size look professional.
Vinyl Ink also did some smaller wraps for a work cart, some buckets, and some hanging signs for job sites. The wraps catch people's eyes and have easily paid for themselves...
Read moreI recently bought a 2021 VW GTI in white and wanted to add a little something to help break it up from all the other white cars of a similar silhouette, but didnât know where to go. I found Vinyl Ink on a search, read some reviews, their website, and decided to contact them with an ideation mock for some modest side detail / stripes. Jeanine contacted me very quickly in response to my inquiry, and everything just came together. She told me how the process flow would work, and I arranged to drive to Fremont for the team to look at my car, the designs, and do some colour matching. When I finally made it to their shop, I was greeted by Jeanine who said, âoh, the GTI has these really nice black accentsâ. This caused me to take a small pause and appreciate her observation, as not a lot of people see these nuances so quickly. As the team was taking measurements and perform some colour matching, I was able to make an installation appointment. Andre later contacted me by email with some clarifying questions and a proof to review. When installation day finally arrived, I still wasnât sure what to expect, but the completed work is just âWOWâ. The detail and care that the Vinyl Ink team took with the design, the placement to ensure the body lines of the car were considered, to even taking the time to remove my mud flaps to wrap enough of the detail over ⌠all of it was just thoughtful and specific. My family was equally impressed with the work, and they are now thinking of going to Vinyl Ink for a project...
Read moreI came to Vinyl Ink to add graphics to my 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT 392. The customer service was unparalleled, I loved the fact that I was kept abreast of everything that would be done for my vehicle via email & text messages. Everthing was done in a very professional manner, as well as adding on additional graphics at no extra cost..Now who does this? I was also given the additional print-outs, again at no extra cost. I thank the management & staff at Vinyl Ink, for going above and beyond for me, as I'm sure they do for all of the customers they have. I will definitely be going back to get additional work done in the near future. Thank you Vinyl Ink, for a job very well done.
Respectfully, Gene...
