Nack Theater — Attraction in Frisco

Anthem Lights were truly horrendous. I'm not sure what they're trying to prove, but their excuse for harmony is pathetic at best. Combine that with awful "dad jokes' and assorted attempts at witty banter and I have over an hour of my life I can never get back.

And the "acoustics" of this theater are a joke. All hard surfaces. Two pathetic excuses for speakers WAY up in the ceiling and pointed past the audience to the far wall.

I designed and installed high end sound reinforcement systems for over 20 years. This is awful. The sound was too boomy. The echo / slapback from all the hard surfaces is uncontrollable. The intelligibility of the system overall was nonexistent.

At the beginning of this assault on the senses, they had a bad wireless mic which took over 10 minutes to resolve. The woman running the sound, finally comes to the stage with a wired mic and cable, removes the non-functioning wireless mic - then takes BOTH mics and leaves. And the so-called band is left one mic shy. She eventually comes back with both mics and tries the wireless again. Still no go. FINALLY she replaces the wireless mic with the wired version - and it takes another couple of minutes to get sound out of it. And now this mic is WAY louder than all the others. Ridiculous and amateur response. I would have resolved the mic problem in under 2 minutes.

Overall, the sound mix was entirely unbalanced and unintelligible.

We've used The Nack Theater as the home for Ms. Onaiwu’s Music Camp for the past three years, and it has been an incredible blessing to our program. I also host my student voice recitals here, and every single experience has been smooth, memorable, and impactful.

The theater is clean, professional, and beautifully maintained—but more than that, it gives our kids a chance to be on a real stage and feel like true stars. Performing in this space builds their confidence and makes them feel celebrated and seen.

Loved visiting this church! I live in Houston and my home church is First Church in Pearland. My mother and i drove to Dallas to see my sister, and we didnt want to miss Sunday service so We found Pastor Josh's church and drove almost an hour to get there. The drive was one Ill gladly make each time im in Dallas from now on. The presence of Holy Ghost flows through this place. Like First Church The sweet scent of Yeshua fills the air in this building. The Pastor and his congregation are friendly, and we were given a warm welcome. The love in this place is genuine.
