Been coming here and arlington one for many years. Got a nice poncho and my rewards got me ten dollars off so I was pleased. Mostly nice staff but there always seems to be at least one that makes it clear they don't want you there. Now as a black woman I gotta keep it 100 with this fact. I have nothing but the utmost respect towards the cultures of my fellow yellow and brown brothers and sisters HOWEVER it's well known that many members of the asian community(northern asia... China Japan etc and southern asia...India pakistan bangladesh etc ) have an issue with african Americans so this may or may not play a role in their unsavory behavior at this store i don't know but here we go with this days events ... I was trying on their different hats and ponchos in the mirror. I grabbed 2 from the rack but left the hangers on the rack since there's no where to hang them by the mirror I was using. When I returned to rehang them, the hangers were gone. I finally see the lady that had been working near me (immediately refolding or repositioning any scarves or hats I tried on. I put them back in their places but clearly it wasn't to her liking which is fine... read on). So I told her I came back to hang the 2 ponchos I tried on but the hangers are now missing. I didn't want to just throw them on top of the rack especially since i see she's cleaning up. Chile, when I handed the ponchos to her, the look on her face was one of pure disgust and even a slight eye roll. As I was walking away I see her pull the hangers from being tucked at her side and rehung the ponchos. Ma'am don't get mad at me because the owners of the store have "store upkeep" written in your list of job duties but customers are in and out rummaging through items right after you straighten them. I feel like old navy workers get bothered by this too but that's not our fault that management wants you constantly straightening up the store even as customers come and go. We're there to put money in their pockets which in turn helps you put money in yours. Straightening the store behind customers shouldn't bring the kind of energy she was giving me, that's what makes me wonder if it was fueled by race as well cause my goodness sister if it's that big of an issue you might need a different job. And for any thinking it was close to closing time... nope... it was only 5pm and their prices have gone up like most other places so I wasnt even suprised by that* also just looked back at some low reviews. I didn't mention it earlier cause I can't prove it but yea I also felt like maybe I was...
Read moreThis place does not deserve a star period ! I work in the area and I've been in this location many times. Everytime I go in there I spend a heavty sum. So on yesterday I enter the store around 5:20 pm , as I enter the door security beeped and one of the workers or owner looked at me oddly but didn't say anything. I proceeded to shop for items and went on to purchase these items. Now with all the cameras around there and the way they watch you , if I had stolen something I would have never made it to the door. As I got close to the door the man who was standing there watching like he was the police walked away .Once I entered where the security is at in front of the door it started beeping again he turned so quickly running towards me demanding and yelling for me to hand my store bought items over to him. Even though I told him I beeped when I walked through the door, he wasn't trying to hear my honesty. He kept yelling violently loud at me as though I was a crook. I then handed him my receipt and he grabbed for the bag and all my things fell on the floor As a customer who was a white woman came through the door seeing it was an issue she asked me was I ok, I then told her what took place and she gave me a disturb look as she did that the man who either owns or work there, then handed me my items back and starting yelling ok cause he at that point didn't want the white customer to leave. I was able to express I would never step foot in that place ever again. And because I do work in the community I will share with my customers and whom ever to beware of this racist place of...
Read moreEver since my daughter introduced me to Sam moon seven years ago I’ve been in love with that store. I tell so many people about it from Indiana, and Texas. It has a plethora of earrings to choose from, because I can only wear clip on‘s. Although on my last trip, I can definitely say I was disappointed in their customer service. I purchased a pair of clip on earrings, along with some foundation. I bought my granddaughter a toy. I walked out to the car, so I thought I was half a mile away and realized I left my package in the store. It was only $16 worth, I grab my granddaughters receipt And called the phone number which only rang once, nothing after that. I tried several times, attempting to reach them so that they wouldn’t give My purchase away, or take it back to the shelves. But I went back into the store to tell them what happened, they automatically told me I took my bags out to the car, or so they assumed. They encourage me to go back out to the car to check it, I keep a squeaky clean car. I reassured him It wasn’t there and I left it at the counter. I asked for this phone number, which they gave me a business card with several numbers on it. I assured them I called that number and it didn’t work.Young lady told me that her phone was off. This is extremely bad business. Number one assuming the customer lied and number 2 telling me her phone was off, business phone. I would be very hesitant to shop at a store like this again Without fear of them hoping you leave bags. I will definitely remind people of...
