I’ve been to Discovery Depot a handful of times. It is an amazing museum that both my 4 year old and 15 month old absolutely love. The exhibits are unique and the museum is clean and organized. However, I’m very sad to report that they are extremely lax with COVID mitigation efforts. We went early in the week and majority of both kids and parents were unmasked. I went in behind a family of 4 school age kids and parents who were all without masks, as they checked in staff did not even encourage them to mask. Also, there are no masking requirements posted upon entry. Very disappointed as this goes against current state guidelines and my children are both too young to be vaccinated. Will unfortunately be waiting to go back until after pandemic is more under control and will be supporting other local museums to better protect children.
