The Carriage House — Restaurant in Galesburg

We asked The Carriage House to make a bunch of yummy goodies for Jordyn and Isaiah‘s wedding. Even though we are like family to the Anderson‘s, I will say that they treat everyone like family. We had chocolate cupcakes, vanilla cupcakes, vanilla, vegan and gluten free cupcakes(they are delicious), custom designed sugar cookies, which included the tiniest rose flowers and the detail was amazing on every single one. Laura is always a joy to work with, she always goes above and beyond any and all expectations. The staff at The Carriage House is amazing as well. I recommend them for any large event, family gathering, or if you just want to pop in for a good cup of coffee and baked good. SO DELICIOUS!!! I'd actually never had the chance to visit until I became a vendor at the Galesburg Farmer's Market. The cookies are wonderful, the lemon bars & blueberry scones are divine! The young folks behind the counter are always helpful & polite. AND, the restrooms are clean & well stocked. I highly recommend stopping by when you're in Galesburg.

I just moved to Galesburg three months ago from Monmouth. I have been to this bakery four times already. I have had cookies, pastries and a special order strawberry pie. Everything was bakery quality and I, along with some best friends, loved the strawberry pie. The employees have always had a smile and were very helpful. I tried to get there on a Saturday for sausage gravy and biscuits, but they were out. I didn’t get there until 10:10am. I will get there soon. It is very much...
