The bagels were bland. The texture was good but could use a little more height. Similar to Einstein Bros but without flavor. To make things worse I had to schmear my own bagel for a to go order and didn't know one container had frosting and the other had cream cheese so that was just lovely.

After paying 10 dollars and waiting 20 min for 2 bagels with plain cream cheese, I took a bite hoping for something better than flavored bread, but instead got a bite of bland bread and burnt seeds. Hoping the cream cheese would make it better, I put that on and surprise! Cake frosting! Haha.

Bagels are supposed to be a quick bite. If the cream cheese wasn't even being put on the bagel, why do people ordering simple fast items have to wait 20 min for other people to get their breakfast sandwiches first? The order filling process could def use some more efficiency.

Yeah, it sucked...was really looking forward to bagels and not the type panera or einstein bros put out. Maybe my wife and I will give it another chance in a year or so after the recipe and customer experience...

Having never eaten here - but needing a breakfast catering solution for a birthday party in Galveston - I ordered a taco and fruit tray as well as bagels and cream cheese here for a party at the Galveston Children's Musuem.

When I first received my invoice I thought the pricing was a little high - BUT then I went and picked up my order the morning of the event and was BLOWN AWAY at the value of what I had purchased. Not only was everything ready on time AND beautifully packaged / presented - but it was a TON of food. The service at the shop was impeccable - they carried the trays to my car and helped me load everything up even in the midst of all of the construction.

Guests RAVED about the food. And - though I'm not a big bagel person - my sister INSISTED I try the everything bagel with chive cream cheese and holy SMOKES. Even untoasted - hands down best bagel I've ever had. Sorry hot bagel shop - you've been beat out as best bagel in Houston and surrounding areas. I'll make a drive to the island ANYTIME I'm in the mood for a bagel from...

Who doesn’t love a side of roaming flies on an overpriced bagel or burrito?! Whole case full of flies, where the bagels sit, along with the whole restaurant being full of them. Every single table available was dirty, and there was NO difference between the heat outside to the inside. The “coffee bar” experience was a joke as well. It took two teenage girls 15 minutes to make two basic coffees, which we paid $17 for. Said barista also refused to even give us our receipt, I guess we were interrupting her gossip session with her coworker about the business staff and the owners of GBC. I was honestly looking forward to the experience because some people have said good things… but it was a SOLID no. Microwaved food with gourmet prices. I remember when this place used to be a total whole in the wall with fantastic burgers!! I’d take the random hobos and outdoor benches for tables over this any day! “Professional chef” owner is like your weird thief cousin telling everyone he’s a “mobile...

10000000000000 stars 🤩 Small but cute place. Amazingly friendly and welcoming employees that are helpful with the menus. Great selection of homemade bagels. Menu of fantastic flavor combos of sandwiches with the bagels. We got two sausage and egg bagels, one on jalapeño cheddar and one on sesame. Hub didn’t think the jalapeño really came through but it was good soft bagel. I got the Turkey Gouda on an onion garlic bagel and it was incredible! Packed full of good quality turkey and the cucumber was so fresh and crunchy. The bagel was incredible, crunchy outside, soft chewy inside. AMAZING! There are many more I want to return to try. Coffee place in the back is fantastic, friendly staff, nice amount of options. They just make the one mistake most small coffee shops do, not enough ice in the iced coffees. They happily have me more ice though. Love!

We have found our new lunch spot - and are obsessed!! First of all, maybe most importantly, customer service. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Secondly, the prices are fair for what you get. And lastly, what you get is the best bagel spot around! The everything bagel is amazing, and we love the Asiago, onion and garlic, jalapeño cheddar bagel, and more! The bacon egg and cheese sandwich is my wife’s go-to, while I get the club sandwich. As you can see in the photo, it’s packed with fresh meats.. and I mean packed! And fresh! There’s not a single negative about this place! You must make it a point to stop at Galveston Bagel Co asap!! They also have a cute coffee shop inside which makes great coffees, and an adjacent smash burger spot that we love as well!! Keep up the great work! You now have lifelong, loyal (and obsessed!) fans!!

Whether you need the best cup of coffee you’ve ever had (yes better than the Green Goddess down the road) a GIGANTIC breakfast burrito that you can eat all day or share with a loved one, the best bagel and cream cheese you’ve ever had (may I recommend the garlic and onion bagel?) or one of their delicious sandwiches or other bagel offerings (their steak pizza bagel makes me wanna slap my own mama) you will not regret stopping in and giving this place a try. All of their employees are happy to assist you, always smiling, and seem to very much enjoy their jobs. The owner is always running around and doing something to make sure things are running smoothly. We’ve been eating here for over a year and the food is always consistent, perfect, and served with a smile. Stop by and tell them I said hello! 🥰
