I thought the wine was alright… however, on 3 occasions, each time different servers were rude and the last blond server was so terribly disrespectful. Although I usually only leave positive reviews. I’m voicing these interactions.. it’s spoiling my experience with potentially a good wine. I won’t be bringing friends or frequenting this establishment. Management should be aware and ashamed of how their employees are treating customers. I believe in treating others as you want to be treated. I have left each experience here with negative feelings though attempting to let them go in hopes of a better second and third round. If I recounted these in detail, it would be hard to choke down. Once is a misunderstanding or a bad day. Two is questionable but three is inexcusable.
**Added Reply - I shouldn’t have expected any better treatment from management. That after reading my review should have apologized. But instead excuses, falsifies and misidentifies the customer, the entire situation. If you and your people treat customers with a smile and kindness, you will see endless repeat customers. I hope you figure it out and stop twisting your issues around to accommodate a false narrative. Your own weakness betrays your family business. I would fire you...
Read moreI can’t express how wonderful the staff and the wine is here. After a long day on the road, we arrived to the hotel next to Telaya. We were SO looking forward to checking it out for our first time. We gave our teenagers cash to find their own dinner and we ventured out with our senior dog (who can’t really walk the trail) to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio. We were incredibly disappointed to see an event was going on and they were closed to the public. But, when we were standing there reading the sign, a server had pity on us (our faces must have looked pretty sad as we’ve driven through Garden City 3 times and not yet made it to Telaya). She welcomed us to the back and we enjoyed the grassy patio all by ourselves! The wine was incredible and so was the service. Our old doggie was greeted with treats and water. He also gives this business 5 stars! Don’t miss a chance to stop here and grab a bottle for home. It took us a few years to get coordinated but it will be a MUST on our future drives...
Read moreNever ever been asked for a credit card when ordering.... I’ve tasted throughout Ca, Idaho, and Oregon... very tacky I’m happy to purchase a bottle or two with tasting but 3? A bit excessive, maybe they can’t sell their wine otherwise. And masks outdoors is way outdated and just unnecessary. Beautiful location but probably skip in the future. Not sure that true statements are unkind.... group of four.. we visited 5 wineries in area and this is the only one that implemented these procedures. We spent $190 on wine and you still charged for your “tasting” all other wineries waved fee with 1 bottle purchase. Your hostess asked me while I was outside to put on a mask. And never ever have I been asked for a credit card when we ordered. Your policies and your right, but my right to find them unacceptable as a consumer. I don’t believe that makes me snarky, or unkind, but whatever. In my opinion, You’re lucky you have a...
