We LOVE this place! The beer tenders are SO friendly, Knowledgeable, and they made our whole afternoon! We’re here visiting our sisters from Denver and stopped in because we remembered loving the downtown location last time we were here. I had the Thai rice lager, and ended up having three or four of them. Deeeeelicious! We probably spent 4 hours here. Can’t wait to come back! The vibe is just so chill and relaxed, and Johnny made us his own blend of something
can’t remember what it was, but whatever it was, it was bomb. Thanks for letting us crash your space for the afternoon!

Truly a wonderful brewery—the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the owners are fantastic people, the beers are unique and they often have live music and/or a food truck on Fridays and Saturdays. The patio space is comfortable, and includes a gas fire pit, which helps to expand the smaller space. This is a great place to gather with a couple friends (assuming they like barrel-aged beers or sours, as those are James’ specialties). Play some darts or a board game, or just hang out in the sunshine; Barbarian is always a good place to unwind among friendly people.

Been wanting to come here for months I had one of their sour beers in a bottle and it was amazing. It only got better having it on tap I had 2 sours Valhalla and red lotus both were great. The bar tender was very chill and helpful the paintings on the wall are awesome It has a very viking feel to it. Dogs are welcome and the merch looks pretty cool they had a food truck that served tacos They were fantastic and you can order from your table on your phone. 10/10 highly recommended this place check it out! đŸ»

I attended an event at Barbarian Brewing and the building and staff were all very lovely. I didn't order anything since I planned to drive later but everyone seemed to enjoy their beers and the building was extremely clean and pleasant. I would like to give them more patronage in the future, but unfortunately, the neighboring Stagecoach Inn did not adequately mark their private parking lot and it resulted in me and many, many other people who attended the event getting our vehicles booted and forced to pay $200 to a private towing company. Obviously Barbarian is not responsible for the inadequate signage and (in my opinion) very shady business practices of the Stagecoach, but I think they could benefit from their own clearer signage of where to park, especially if they plan to host more events like this with so many people in attendance at once. I would have been very happy to park elsewhere if it had been communicated beforehand or indicated to me properly. I don't want Barbarian or their customers to be harmed further by this situation, and if Stagecoach Inn is going to refuse to improve their own signage because they seem to believe it's adequate enough, I think Barbarian could benefit from better signage/communication with their own patrons. I would be interested in returning in the future and will be reccomending this business to people who enjoy breweries, but I will absolutely be warning people about the...

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. We just left Barbarian and had the worst experience we have had at a brewery. We have been frequent customers there and and won't be returning after today. My little family were trying to enjoy our company after I worked a full day at the hospital and I was excited to hang with my family and relax. I have a three year old daughter and 1.5 year old daughter. We found a seat inside today because it's been really hot. We had just sat down we were discussing buying shirts and hats and our littlest yelled at the most 5 times. We were in the process of calming her down when a man came from behind the bar and told us if she yelled again we would be asked to sit outside. We were shocked because we had just got there. We are so disappointed because we really liked this place but our family no longer feels welcomed and I would not consider this a family friendly place. Luckily there are other family friendly places like Mad Swede that we...

hey bubba, get in line. You won’t wait long. One or more of the well-spaced, full-coverage bar wizards will getcha the brews you seek. Not sure what to git? Well, by golly just ask. They’ll give you the run-down (“well, what do you like?”) Although this is a VOLUME game, churn-churn-churning out the pints in quality glasses, it’s run by patient, caring folks. And you, fren? You’re patient and caring too I bet. And you can say, when you’re set to meet your maker, that you were a PART of ‘sumpin. You raised a fam, and you brought them to this massive watering hole. By the river. Well, you can’t SEE the river, but you know’d it’s there. Mebe you were even jes ON IT!! And now it’s CONCRETE-TIME.

The kids sip sodas. The food trucks await your order (“Hmmm.. the Mex-can truck is outta quesadillas.. pizza?”). All is fine on this sunny day near the river. It has become night. The party goes on.. to a PRUDENT hour. You are a success. Good luck...
