Ann Nicole's Nails & Spa - 20% OFF PEDICURE — Attraction in Garland

Kelly and Tom are both great, Kelly at pedicures and Tom at nexgen. However, I cannot give this place a 5 star because I have had multiple scheduling issues. At first May would do my nails but at some point I'd request her for nexgen when I did my appointment only to go in and she'd try to have someone else do my nails. So then I had Hugo do my nexgen and same thing at some point when I would call to set up appointments I would be told he was out, or not there and I'd get there and he was there. I then changed to Tom for nexgen and he has been great however he is out of the country and I was told Mary would take care of me when I called for an appointment. I arrived and she was with another customer and said would be right with me. I was halfway done with my pedicure with Kelly and Mary then started doing a walk ins nails, I asked Kelly if I was going to have to wait for her to be done with her since I had an appointment. Mary said I will be over in 10 minutes, this was not the case, she finished the customer's nails. At the end of my pedicure, Hugo offered to do my nails. I rejected the service as it was late and had somewhere to be, if Hugo would've offered to do them sooner that would've changed the story but instead he did 2 walk ins nails during my pedicure knowing I had an appointment. Edit: I came back for a second visit, but I won’t be returning due to misleading advertising. I first came in mid-June for a classic gel manicure and a classic pedicure with regular polish. I chose this salon because the website said there was a 20% discount on services during happy hour (Monday–Thursday, 10am–3pm). When I asked about it, I was told it only applied to Gel-X services. I said no problem, and when I paid, I was told I’d receive 20% off on my next visit.

Today, I came back and noticed a banner that said “20% off second service,” and the website still states 20% off any service for all customers. But when I went to pay and asked about the discount, I was told it didn’t apply because I only got a manicure this time, not both a manicure and pedicure like before — which makes zero sense. This kind of inconsistency and misinformation is really disappointing, and I won’t be coming back. I attached pictures below.

First time visiting and I had a great experience! Tammy was amazing—super friendly and attentive. Special mention to Tina and the other gentleman who helped out as well. I used to make the drive all the way to Dallas Nail Bar on Garland Rd, but lately it hasn’t been worth it, especially since they don’t clean up my cuticles properly anymore. Not sure how relevant at this point it is to leave a review but I was at this nail salon back in March 2018 for shellac removal.

It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had that it deterred me from getting my nails done again until Jan of 2019 of this year. The nail technician at Ann Nicole's Nails & Spa ruined all my nail beds. My nail beds took months to grow back normal without the scratches the technician left.

I just remember waiting for a long time for someone to help me. There was a male and woman who was helping with my nails but regardless used the metal tools to remove the shellac off my nails. They scrapped my nails so bad that it scratched all my nail beds and I left feeling numbness on my nails. I remember the next morning my nails were in pain, numb, weak and honestly dead.

I honestly thought it was from shellac nail polish removal and the pain came with it... but I've gotten my nails done once a month since Jan 2019 and have never experienced what I had at this location.
