
It's probably one of the worst gyms in Gaylord.
Member over a year, not the best upkeep or maintenance. Black mold issues in showers, amongst other hygienic locker room questionable standards.
Lacking bathrooms & adequate space for the number of people that attend. The same issue goes for the placement of machines & equipment.
Was asked not to sweat or have any odor. Unfit & unhealthy people telling you what you're doing wrong.
Would not recommend it unless it is the last choice for Gaylord.

Read moreA reasonably well equipped, old school gym. The gym offers a complete free weight room (one of the few in the area), with a substantial set of dumbbells, racks, benches and barbells.
There is a decent size cardio area with treadmills, bikes, elliptical, and even a couple (somewhat dated) concept rowers.
They also offer a fairly complete section of weight machines.

Read morePassing thru Gaylord and I needed a gym. I called Powerhouse and spoke with Susan who told me of the ultra cheap day rate.
Next morning I turned up and met Dan who got me signed in and showed me the whole place.
It was well equipped and clean, the other customers were friendly and polite and get this, the coffee is free!
Seriously, Powerhouse is a family business in a world of Globo Gyms and CrossFit Boxes. It is obvious that they take pride in creating a welcoming environment, care about the quality of work that they do, and believe in a community effort.
