This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in; Dirty and unkept. I arrived in the early evening, the hotel is conveniently located off the highway, which when you leave makes it easy for you to get as far away from it as quickly as possible! The lobby is darkly lit, as are the hallways, yet it is easy to see the wear and tear in the carpet along with debris scattered on the floor. Does this property own a vacuum? The room had equally warn and dirty carpet. When I arrived I first noticed 2 pennies on the floor, then noticed toe nail clippings on the floor as well. As I scanned the carpet you can see seeds and other debris on the carpet, and along the edge of the carpet and the carpeted molding…once again, does this place own a vacuum? I then turned my eyes to the bed where I see another toe clipping. I am now thinking that not only were the floors not vacuumed, but the sheers were not washed. I pulled the sheets back and noticed some spots on the comforter, a little bleach needed here! Regarding amenities, the TV only had a handful of cable channels and no local network TV. The WiFi signal was weak and went in and out. The water pressure in the shower was weak, and the hot-cold in the shower worked backwards. Unfortunately i could not find any other hotels nearby so I suffered through the evening itching and scratching, and hoping I don’t bring anything undesired home with me. AN ABSOLUTELY AWFUL HOTEL!

Hotel had no working air conditioning unit because it broke and no one would come on a weekend, which I highly doubt. Assuming it would cost more to come out on a weekend, sure. Luckily, the individual units in the rooms worked. The units in the room are in disrepair also. This hotel has a huge leaking issue which showed in our room as well as the main areas. Our toilet wouldn’t flush in our room so my husband attempted to use the front lobby and it was out of order. The bathroom in the pool area was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. The bathroom stall door wouldn’t shut because it was rotten. The carpets are stained and coming up off the floor. This is in our room and throughout the building. Our bathroom was still dirty with finger marks all over the door and mirror. When we arrived, the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. What did they spray in there before we arrived is a big question. Front desk staff and cleaners came looking like they just got out of bed. I’d suggest taking the Wyndham name off this hotel. It’s embarrassing and disgusting

7/5/25 This is literally the worst hotel we've stayed at. Do not stay here unless it's a last resort or everything else is booked. We had traveled most of the day to get here, upon getting the room and realizing the AC didnt work. Just blows out hot air. It was significantly hotter in the room then it was outside. You get 3 tiny pillows on a king size bed. The room was really outdated, floors are dirty, the shower knows we're bound up not allowing us to turn on the hot water. My wife had to use a cup from the sink to take a shower. I am really upset with paying a premium price of 250 dollars of staying here when I could have stayed somewhere cheaper and it would have been a way better stay.

If you love humid, stale, musty air, sticky, stained carpets covered in crumbs (and who knows what else), clothing and other miscellaneous trash strewn about the hallway, previously used wash cloths and bathing towels that have been used and not washed properly (stained, brown spots and dark hairs on them), and BED BUGS, well, this is the place for you! :)

After carrying our luggage up to our room (no elevator), we entered our room, which looked NOTHING like what was pictured on the website. The pictures are extremely deceiving, and what you think you are paying for is NOT what you get. :(

We checked out the bathroom only to find that the doors stick, and it is impossible to get into the tub without climbing over the toilet. We went to the pool / hot tub area for a short period of time which was completely dark with no lights on which is a major safety risk.

Upon returning to our room, we encountered small insects that appeared to be bed bugs and checked out shortly thereafter. We refused to spend the night in such a filthy, unhygienic location. The employee at the front desk claimed that she could not issue a refund and instructed me to call back to request the refund by contacting the manager via email and / or phone.

As it was late, and everything in the area was full, my boyfriend and I had to make the tough decision to drive 4 hours back home in the middle of the night despite being exhaustion from driving the entire day (to make it to THIS LOCATION nonetheless).

I have requested a refund and have been denied numerous times. Despite bringing attention to the infestation, the (very rude) owner refuses to do anything about it and passes the blame onto the guests instead of containing and resolving an already existing problem.

I contacted corporate, who also REFUSED to do anything about refunding the booking or the infestation, which speaks volumes about the quality and priorities of this company as a whole.

This location is outdated, unkempt and frankly poses a major health risk to the local area as well as guests that are passing through the area for business or leisure. PLEASE BE FOREWARNED and spend the extra couple bucks to ensure that you don't bring any unwanted hitchhikers back home.

I promise that anywhere else will offer a much more enjoyable (and hygienic) experience whether you are travelling alone, as a couple or...

Terrible Service: This is a long story that I’ll try to shorten but we were in town for my Sisters wedding, we were staying at the wedding venue but had family staying in hotels. My teenage son and my teenage nephew wanted to go swimming at Grandmas hotel, they are old enough to drive so we let them go and Grandma would be there shortly, they didn’t realize that the hotel they were supposed to go to was directly behind the travel lodge, so they started swimming at the travel lodge and were approached by the owner who asked them questions, when they were unable to find the reservation for Grandma ( because mistakenly they went to the wrong hotel) he started threatening them with felony trespassing and wouldn’t let them leave, told them to get grandma on the phone ( which they did and that’s how it was discovered it was the wrong hotel ) but instead of just chalking it up to an honest mistake and asking to them to leave, he wouldn’t let them leave unless they gave him an ID and paid $50, they were scared so my son gave his id and his debit card. He made my son sign something and wouldn’t give him a copy or “receipt” This morning we discovered my son was charged $288 so we went to the hotel. The also refused to give me a copy of what my minor son signed, he showed me he had it but would not let me read it or have a copy, he would only give me the copy of my sons ID and something that showed they would refund his card the amount of the room minus the $50, when asked where it states a pool charge is $50 he got defensive and told me there wasn’t one and he didn’t have to provide me that nor did he need to give me a copy of what my 16 year old son signed while being threatened. We did get the police involved and they took a photo of the receipt ( which was a full on room receipt for room 104 that he charged a minor year old for all for a simple mistake ). Also beware because while we were waiting to speak to the owner the lady at the front desk was taking picture of her computer screen with a cell phone after people...

Stayed for 1 night in April,2025. We were tired of driving and had booked this room online.

1st. There was no heat in most of the building including the front desk area.

2nd. We had to wait a long time in the cold lobby for the desk attendant to check us in. She was the "ONLY" staff, so she was out cleaning rooms when we arrived.

3rd. We were unable to get into our room until 9pm, because the lone staff member was cleaning our room.

4th. No TV, no internet, pool closed, no ice, no complimentary breakfast, as advertised.

5th. Room was disgusting and half the carpet was ripped out and the floor under it was stained, very dirty and gross.

6th. There was buckets everywhere to collect the water coming in the hotel from the roof.

7th. The back entrance was full of mud and other debris.

8th. This hotel should have been closed in the state it was in and as soon as we said we did not want to stay and would just like a refund, we were told because we booked through a 3rd party we could not get a refund and were forced to spend the night there. Imagine, they charged us full rate to stay that one night in a disgusting room that we could not even get into till 9pm.

9th. We sent a message to the owner of the hotel and yup, you guessed it, no refund or even a discount. Obviously the owner could care less about customers or his hotel. Zero pride of ownership. He is a franchisee and should lose his franchise. He's giving Travelodge a bad reputation.

10th. We will never, ever, stay at a travelodge again, and we travel a lot. Nor will we book with a 3rd party again, like booking.com or others since if there is a problem with your room, you are screwed.

If I could have opted to give a zero rating,...
