The team at Saguaro is exceptional! I was referred to Saguaro by my optometrist when another, much larger and highly-promoted Opthamology practice blew me off after a 2.5 hour sit-and-wait visit. I am so grateful he sent me to Saguaro. I met Jim, who owns the practice, on my first visit. He introduced my wife and me to the incredible staff and made us feel part of the family. I arrived late for my initial appointment but Amy made me feel that my tardiness had actually helped them manage their appointment load. Each member of the technical staff was efficient, openly pleasant, and answered our questions patiently and thoroughly. And then we met Dr. Bowen. He is obviously the heart of all that occurs ar Saguaro, creating an environment of trust and confidence I have rarely experienced among medical professionals. Following my surgery, Dr. Bowen’s follow up was stellar and his concern for me, as his patient, rewarding. Finally, a word about Jim - I misplaced my post-op medications but Jim worked his magic to secure replacement meds over a weekend when the initial pharmacy was closed. I was amazed, but not surprised; I was already a loyal fan of the team at Saguaro. My final surgery is just a week away and...

I was referred to Saguaro Ophthalmology from another satisfied patient. I had a cataract repaired in my left eye about three years ago and now I needed the same procedure on my right eye. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Bowen and his staff. The office setting and staff was very professional and Dr. Bowne's bedside manner was calm, cool and collected. The guy is awesome. At no point did I ever feel like I was a number and that's very important to me. After my initial visit I was set for surgery two weeks later. The cataract surgery went very well and costed me $1000 less than my first eye surgery. The surgery center and team was also very professional and offered a great experience. My eye healed perfectly with no complications and I'm back to 20/20. I can't thank Dr. Bowen and his staff enough for this wonderful experience. When I go to any Doctor, the most important thing to me is that I get treated with respect and interest for my questions and concerns. Going to the Doctor is hard enough. The item that is a very close second is the capability and competence of the Doctor. When I walked into Dr. Bowen's office I was put as ease by the friendly and sociable staff which is always a plus. The best part was meeting Dr. Bowen and being treated with the respect and interest I had hoped for. Dr. Bowen was very thorough with the many eye measurements and patient to answer all my questions and dispel my concerns. Dr. Bowen's capability and competence were obvious.
