This is a fun place for all ages and a good place for families. Kids under age 6 must be accompanied by an adult and there are always lots of kids under age 6. Adults can be an observer or a jumper. Everyone must sign a waiver.
This isn't a huge place like Urban Air but it's got plenty of things to do. There is a general trampoline section, a Dodge ball court, a basketball hoop section, a giant inflated pillow to jump into, a rock wall for climbing, a video game parlor, three private party rooms, a snack bar and a dining area. There are a couple other activities that we didn't try.
Food and drink are not allowed in the jump area which is a very good policy. No one wants to walk on sticky floors in socks or fall on a sticky or wet trampoline. There are massage chairs available and every time I've visited there were several parents and grandparents enjoying them.
The jump sessio.ns last two hours. Jump socks are required for all participants, offered at $4.00 a pair, for safety reasons. They are definitely a must.
This business is relatively clean with the exception of the party rooms. The party rooms are very basic and apparently aren't cleaned between parties which was a shock. Our room was very dirty when we arrived. However, there was a broom in the room so we were able to sweep when we were setting up and we had bright table covers. I'm assuming it is the responsibility of each party to clean the room after the party which IMO isn't cool for the price.
You may bring your own decorations and cake. The party packages are priced per person and include pizza, lemonade, jump socks, and jump time. The pizza is tasteless, cold, and the crust tastes like cardboard. None of the adults at our party finished their piece and only a few of the children ate it. There was a lot left that we threw out because no one wanted to take it home. In spite of that disappointment, the kids all had a great time so I would say it's a good place for a party.
The only other menu item I purchased was an Icee, which was good. They offer memberships starting at $21. Both times I took the kids for a jump session (not a party), I met several parents who had memberships and felt it was a great value.
To summarize, I highly recommend this place for a fun and unique family or teen activity. The kids absolutely love it. Just don't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe've had two years of parties from here, one last year, and the previous year for our kid. We visited a few weeks ago for a non reservation party and it was horrible.
Facility is great, however the new owners are surely squeezing every dollar from parents and their highschool staff, tl;dr below.
Facility is great: there's some amazing things to do in this trampoline park. Rock climbing, trampoline dodgeball court, some basketball hoops, and even a stunt area for kids.
The not so great: All 3 occasions, our birthday parties + party for a family friend the kitchen was either "closed" or partially running (i.e. only served nachos and icees). On one occasion for our birthday, we were told we couldn't order more pizzas because the kitchen was backed up.
The rooms acoustic for parties is horrendous. Having multiple children, while throwing a party in their party room is like having a never ending debate with a ghostādon't worry though, your guests get a free ticket to the noise festival too, definitely a shared experience šš But seriously, the echo is so intense, I think even the walls are trying to have a conversation with us.
Speaking of party rooms, you can't setup any decorations for your party for the first hour. If your party is from 1 to 245 , you can't set up decorations until 2. The kids will be expected to jump from 1-2.
*Non-reserved parties can use their general table area, but let's be real. Most people from the party rooms retreat to these tables to get rid of the voices reverberating between their ears.
*I'm not gonna ding the highschool kids working here, it's a great first job. Especially one that shows how to handle disgruntled customers consecutively throughout a day. They'll definitely be equipped to work at our DMV here in California.
The tldr is this:
Single family events just to show up? Worth it.
Throwing a party? Do it at chuckeecheese. They at least get decent food, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRecently had a party reservation here (Gilroy Location). We booked the MEGA VIP experience, which allows 10 jumpers ($420) & added 4 extra jumpers ($42 ea additional jumper) for a total of a little bit over $600 (w/ taxes). According to the MEGA VIP package, we were supposed to have a dedicated party host for the 1 hr party room experience , but we only saw him 2x. At the beginning to tell us the room was ready & 10mins before the hour finished to let us know we should start packing soon. In addition, the MEGA VIP packaged mentioned weād get help w/ set up & clean up. Our host was no where to be found. The setup & clean we had to do took time away from our designated 1 hr party room experience. To top it off, at no point were we given the rest of the other benefits as was marketed in the MEGA VIP packaged:
We did not receive: -Party host for all our needs -party room set up/ clean up -T-shirt for guest of honor -stickers for every jumper -resusable water bottles for every jumper -VIP Pass for every jumper party e-invites
At this point I shouldāve been charged for a basic package (smh).
I called to submit a complaint, and they mentioned the manager would get back to me. Full transparency its only been 1 day, but have not reviewed an email nor call from Sky Zoneās (Gilroy, CA) facility as of yet.
For anyone looking into booking partys make sure you follow up with them (even though that shouldnāt be the responsibility of the paying customer). Not a great MEGA VIP party experience...
