Star Tea — Restaurant in Gilroy

The service provided by a particular staff member at this establishment was disappointing. There was an individual, described as a shorter, skinny Asian man with black hair and glasses, who was responsible for taking orders. I found his attitude to be unpleasant, which has the potential to drive customers away. During my visit, I ordered two drinks, one of which was specifically a Vietnamese coffee with boba. Despite the shop being relatively empty at the time, he mistakenly prepared the wrong drink. When I informed him that I had ordered the Vietnamese coffee, he proceeded to blame me for not clearly communicating my order. I felt that I had been quite clear about my preferences, yet he arrogantly held me responsible for the mistake. Eventually, he did make the correct drink. Additionally, I observed him displaying a similar negative attitude towards another customer who was present before me. Considering the consistent unpleasant demeanor he exhibited, I am uncertain if I would return to this establishment to purchase...

Whenever we head to the bay area we stop here to grab a drink because they are absolutely delicious. We are usually kindly greeted and have never had bad customer service until today. I took my nephews there today and the gentleman with the blonde hair must’ve been having a bad day or something because he was rude. He didn’t greet us, seemed irritated that we didn’t know exactly what we wanted upon entry (mind you nobody else was in line), and rolled his eyes at me when I asked him to repeat himself because I couldn’t hear what he had asked. I don’t know if he was in a hurry to get back to his Zoom call that he had going on in the background or what but he should work on his customer service skills a bit. I hope his day gets better and he treats other paying customers better...

Very nice staff and fast service. They got a pretty wide range of drink (icy, smoothies, milk tea...) and snack. However the milk tea only comes in basic flavours. I ordered olong milk tea, Thai and black milk tea with toppings. The taste is average compared to others boba tea store but there were lots of boba which is a plus. Strong tea flavour. The staff didn't ask if I want to adjust the sweetness level, so it was quite sweet. Overall, good price,...
