Hacienda Cafe & Grill — Restaurant in Gilroy

My husband and I wanted to try out this new brunch spot and I’m so glad we did! There was a bit of a wait, but the staff were super nice and very apologetic. I expect this for a new brunch spot with such a cute aesthetic. But it’s not just aesthetics!!! The food was packed with flavor, I wish I took a picture :( aside from the initial wait to get seated (which on a Sunday afternoon, where are you not waiting?!) the timeframe from getting drinks and food was exceptional. The space itself is huge and can easily accommodate groups. There is also a bar area which is open seating. If you’re in the area or want to try something new, I would definitely recommend hacienda...

This pace just opened and I’m so glad it did. The food was amazing. We got the chilaquiles trio and now we can never go back to a single flavor. They stayed very crispy and are probably the best we’ve had in gilroy. We also ordered the chicken and waffles. They were also amazing. The chicken melted off the bone and the waffles was also crispy yet fluffy.

As to be expected with a new restaurant, the service was a little slow but wait staff was super friendly, attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

They also brought us out a sample of their churro waffle which made for a wonderful dessert to wrap up our meal!

This place was an absolute treat. I walked in and was greeted by a generous host that sat me in a short amount of time. My waitress greeted me and offered me her favs from the menu. I went with the chorizo chilaquiles and was not disappointed. The chips were crunchy, the salsa ranchera was amazing and just the right amount of spice. It paired well with the touch of cream and the delicious Michaelada. 10/10 would recommend this place. Overall the restaurant was clean. The vibes were amazing mf the food was over the top....
