GameStop — Attraction in Glassboro

We had an unfortunate incident over the weekend where the signs for a sale were still up. The employee even brought it up to convince my wife and 10 yo son they could buy 1 more preowned game and then get one free. It turned out the sale had expired the night before. The employee was not very helpful in getting it squared away and refused to honor the sale despite being the one to steer them to take advantage of the offer and refused to call her manager or offer any kind of resolution. Needless to say, it resulted in a very disappointed child and caused my wife undue stress trying to convince her to take the appropriate actions and honor their mistake. I'm posting 4 stars though because of how pleasant and professional Myles was in helping us sort this issue out the next day. He empathized, recognized their mistake, and got us squared away. Tried to order a standard Xbox One controller. Pickup in store was not available for any controller at this location online, I thought that was strange so I called. The phone rang 10 times nobody answered and no voice mail. I thought that was strange too because they are only doing curbside pickup. I was in the area so I called again about an hour later. The store rep asked what I wanted and I told him a standard stock Xbox One Controller. Apparently they dont have any new stock Xbox controllers in stock, only modified and themed controllers and used non stock controllers. On top of that, they do not accept cash or debit cards, only credit cards. How does a GameStop not have any regular new Xbox controllers? Anyway, I prefer to shop places that accept my money and have what I am looking for. I am disappointed I do not have a local GameStop that sells plain stock Xbox controllers in glassboro, and they do not accept...

I purchased a "new" 3DS XL today. When I opened it, there was no tape sealing the outside of the box, the bag containing the manual was open instead of sealed, the foam sheet that goes in between the screens was missing, there were smudges all over the DS (screens and outside), there was a hair stuck in the sound jack, two scratches across the screen, and scratches on the outside of the case. The system was clearly used.

But there's more! Somebody very clearly tried to clean the system, but failed horribly. The edge of the screen had dirt and debris stuck in it, exactly as though someone had wiped the screen but not gotten in the corners.

I would not have been upset if this system was sold to me as used. It's in very good condition. But I didn't ask for "used," I asked (and paid for) "new". And the fact that you guys are trying to pass your used merchandise off as new...
