We returned to Baribault Jewelers to pick out our wedding bands, and were instantly reminded about why we shared a glowing five-star review in the first place. Ana was exceptionally helpful as we browsed different band styles and sizes, and her expertise in how each band would complement Amanda's engagement ring was invaluable as we sorted through option after option. Not to mention, the team at Baribault goes above and beyond to make shopping for rings an enjoyable experience. During each of our three visits, Ana and the team polished and shined Amanda's jewelry as we browsed; these small details are why we recommend Baribault to anyone in the area!

Prior to walking in to Baribault, I had little to no idea about how rings differ from one another, how to choose a ring, or what I was even looking for. I was apprehensive about paying too much due to my lack of knowledge, and even considered buying online. I can honestly say without hesitation that I am so fortunate to have walked in to Baribault, as I could not be happier with the entire journey of shopping with them.

Within the first few minutes of walking in the door, I was greeted personally by Patty, who spent the next forty minutes describing all of the different qualities and features of diamonds and settings, how these affect longevity and quality, and where the value truly lies. I was relieved to find that Patty wasn't here to sell me something, instead, she was there to partner with me in a monumental decision, and her dedication to working with me absolutely earned her a customer for life along with the personal recommendations I shared with friends and colleagues.

Patty then showed me a variety of styles and options, and recommended I set up a time for just the two of us to review some options she selected. Patty stayed late one Tuesday evening with me to finally make my purchase, and her honesty and knowledge is just unmatched. I sincerely appreciated how she showed quality stones and settings in a tiered price point, allowing me to really customize my experience without seeing something I loved but couldn't afford.

Patty followed up numerous times after I ordered to provide updates on the ring's appraisal and delivery, and made sure to meet my fiance after I proposed as well. She loved the ring and it was beautifully set and delivered - the two of us couldn't be happier.

Patty didn't stop once the sale ended, either. She has been consistent in inviting us back to Baribault to ensure proper sizing and offer advice on cleaning and maintenance. With this experience in our rear-view mirror, there is no question we will be back to purchase our wedding bands and to carry out any routine maintenance or cleanings as well.

We cannot say enough amazing things about this jeweler and Ana who worked personally and joyfully with us to fix a situation that she navigated effortlessly. The first situation was the custom engagement ring (that Dan had designed with another jeweler) was unable to accommodate a flush wedding band that we wanted. The jeweler that Dan worked with in Boston never asked him to consider the type of wedding band I would want when in the design process. I would have been forced to get a curved wedding band which we both felt didn’t honor the beauty of the engagement ring he gave to me. That’s when our friends recommended we go to Baribault jewelers and ask for Ana to not only find our dream wedding band, but to have the engagement ring redesigned to sit higher up so the wedding band could kiss the engagement ring as we desired. The process was perfect and we felt like Ana truly has a gift for what she does! She sent blueprints for the design that were impressive and also created a 3D model of the new ring height so we could see how it would sit with a wedding band we chose. She helped us pick the perfect wedding band from their showroom and needless to say what she reimagined for our engagement ring was our dream!!! Working with her was a Blessing and we now have a jeweler for life!

Here comes the second situation. We didn’t expect to have to use Ana’s talent again so soon after the wedding, but the wind blew us back to Baribault a month after the wedding. One day, Dans wedding band fell apart into 3 separate pieces when he went to take it off to sanitize. We looked at each other completely heartbroken and in shock that another jeweler we purchased from (that wasn’t Baribault), let us down! Even though I thought the chances were slim that Ana would be able to help us since my husband’s wedding band was Tungsten, boy was I wrong! I went in there pretty much sobbing seeing if there was anything she could do because we knew Tungsten was almost impossible to repair. Ana perked up to the challenge and was eager to help fix something she didn’t break just like we were old friends. A few days later I got the call that his wedding band was able to be completely fixed, renewed and restored! I broke into tears!! That was all we wanted because that ring was what I put on his finger on the best day of our lives! The owners at Baribault were so touched by our story and really took exceptional care of us during this time and we are forever grateful! Baribault Jewelers is a true gem in every sense of the word!

I absolutely urge you to avoid this business. As a wedding gift for me, my fiancée met with the people at Baribault and asked them to: 1) melt down gold jewelry from our families and create a new medallion, 2) add the new medallion to my gold chain which already had two medallions on it, and 3) clean the whole chain before we picked it up. They assured my fiancée that this was no problem, as they specialized in custom pieces of jewelry. The chain was left with them, and they were entrusted with a family heirloom. The chain had belonged to my deceased grandfather.

What we got instead was a complete and utter disaster. When my fiancée’s mom went to pick it up at Baribault, she found that the chain had been broken at the clasp, it had been shortened significantly, and they had LOST one of the original medallions that was on the chain. When the person at the front counter went to ask the jeweler about it, they insisted that the chain only had one medallion on it to begin with. I have worn this chain for years with two medallions on it, and for the jeweler to try to make the issue go away by saying this is completely offensive.

After a lot of back and forth between my fiancée’s mom and the person at the jewelry counter, Baribault offered to overnight a new medallion to replace the old one. This was at least something but really does not come close to making up for the fact that they LOST the original medallion. The jeweler didn’t even come out from the back to apologize and made the person at the front counter deal with this fiasco themself.

We followed up directly with Louis Baribault who said that he would review security footage to try and see what went wrong. It has been over a week since we spoke with him, and we have not heard from him since.

This jeweler ruined a special gift for our wedding day and truly caused me and my fiancée so much distress over this family heirloom being completely ruined. I can’t even wear the chain to our wedding because Baribault Jewelers broke so much off of it that it no longer fits comfortably. I really would never recommend that...
