Glastonbury Pizza House — Restaurant in Glastonbury

Ok so I’m not being mean just honest , $96 for 4 of us I can live with . 2 chicken tender meals , 1 tuna melt meal , 1 chicken parm 12 inch grinder with fries and a cheese/gravy over fries plate . My fiancé.and I thought we would support a smaller restaurant rather than a chain restaurant , I get chicken tenders are bought frozen but they were rubberized and the French fries soaked in old oil and not seasoned. Same chicken tenders used for my chicken parm grinder , sauce was ok and cheese melted nice but eh . The 2 biggest upsets / let downs were the tuna melt and gravy/cheese fries which we just threw out and couldn’t even eat guys ! Instead of gravy over fries it was as if the fries never got drained and saturated the french fries inedible . The tuna melt was not a traditional melt at all and holy cow overwhelming taste of very dark fishy tuna inedible as well 😳 perhaps their pizza is good but unfortunately after our first experience tonight we will not be returning to find out . AWFUL!!!! I ordered BBQ wings for delivery and was sent spicy wings. When I called to see if this could be exchanged for what I ordered I was berated and told these were spicy bbq wings and because I didn’t know there were 2 types of bbq wings it was my fault and they wouldn’t exchange it then hung up on me. DO NOT GO HERE

To be clear you are not trying to rectify anything. You were patronizing on the phone when I called. I said I received the wrong order I ordered BBQ and what I received was extremely spicy (not bbq). You then told me to rub my finger on it to try it and send u a picture (seriously?!?!) then you explained you had 2 BBQ wings 1 was spicey and 1 was not and since I didn’t clarify (because I didn’t know) that I received what I asked for and you then hung up on me.

The ONLY rectification was my husband (completely disgusted with how you treated me) drove down, who you then tried to patronize as well. Yes finally you refunded the $15 for the wings, but SHAME ON YOU to think that is customer service and that you rectified this. Any establishment that treats its customers like that is not an establishment I will ever go to again and I strongly advise others...

The food was on time, and that's the only part of the order that met any sort of expectation. The antipasto salad had one roll of meat, consisting of one single slice of each type. The club sandwich was more of the same, with 3 large slices of bread with maybe 1/8 of it having anything but bread. Also, on presentation, clubs should be cut in quarters, not in halves The fries were completely unsalted. They were cooked ok, slightly soggy, but not abysmal. The pickle may have been good, but they forgot to include it, so I may never have an answer to that mystery. The absolute icing on the cake was the garlic bread. The bread felt extremely soft wrapped in it's tin foil, and that makes sense because when I opened it it was wholly apparent that they FORGOT TO COOK IT AT ALL! see pics, but the unmelted garlic butter showed no signs of even being warmed in an oven, let alone toasted to a desirable level.
