The Bookstore of Glen Ellyn — Attraction in Glen Ellyn

This is a wonderful, independent bookstore located in the heart of Glen Ellyn's historic downtown. I called them to see if they had a specific edition of a book in stock & they held the copy for me until I arrived. When I got there, their knowledgeable staff took the time to help me find out if it was the first printing of that edition. Although I had never been to the store before, & the item I wanted was not a particularly expensive one, they treated me like I was a valued customer & that my purchase, plus the attendant questions I asked about its editon, printing, & condition, really mattered to them. I had a great experience shopping with them & I cannot recommend this outstanding store more...

During a recent business trip to Chicago, I discovered the most delightful little bookstore! It was about a 20-minute drive from my hotel, and I was warmly welcomed as soon as I walked in. The store was incredibly well-organized, making it easy to find exactly what I was looking for—and, of course, a few unexpected treasures. The thoughtful layout and clear sections made browsing such a pleasure.

I have shopped here for over a year now and somehow have never left a review! This is by far the best bookstore (and possibly even the best store!) I have ever been to! The staff is amazing and kind (one could say amazingly kind) and will go to all extents to help you out to find the proper book to take home or if your like me books.
