MacDade Mall — Attraction in Glenolden

I'm giving this mall 3 stars. I think the 2 stores I frequent here are great. I love Mclaughlin's Beverage and one dollar zone! I have donated plasma at B Positive Plasma as well, and gotten paid decently for it. B Positive pays decently for plasma donations, but not for referrals. If you can't refer others, don't worry. You're not losing much $. Just book your appointments in advance, if you want to donate. You have to have an appointment there, and slots fill up quickly. I will give B Positive a satisfactory rating. Acme is still there, from the original Macdade Mall. I still occasionally go to this Acme. While most of their selection is expensive, they at least have a good selection, like they always have. The other businesses remind me that this mall is just a strip mall now. It's not the great mall it once was. Snipes has some good sneakers, but I think they're overpriced. Selection could be much better on work shoes as well. I think Marshall's and Ross do not have a good selection on clothing. They both look like a Goodwill store. Good prices, but I can't say anything else that's positive about them. With only 2 great stores, I give this once great mall an average rating. The arcade, and the original clothing stores have not been suitably replaced, by the discount clothing stores there now. Customer service is definitely lacking! I door dash and I went to grab an order I was also hungry and Burger King has an option for my dietary needs. The number three. The signs that indicate that online orders are picked up in doors were mangled and there for invisible. Upon heading through the growing drive through line I made my order and indicated I was also there to pick up a dash order. I was rudely told to head inside after I received my number 3 and that the order was ready. I parked and did so. Only when I got in there was a line of 5 people and no clear marked /if one pick up area. The manager as well as cashier knew why I was there yet waited on at least 2 guest first that was understandable. Yet my dash order sat ready and cold so I finally had to cut in and ask for it for a third time. They did not like my lack of patience yet I didn't like seeing the order from the drive through ready and getting colder. I gave em five stars because even though I was annoyed and probably annoying when I bit my fries they were supper fresh salted evenly and the beyond burger was the best one I had at BK! My first time here,Will be going back. The gentleman at the register was the only one working on this past Sunday and he had an insane amount of people in line,an no one at the balloon counter, and this is why I came here that day. I had seen this guy struggling to keep up and apologizing to everyone as he waited on them. I told him since he was so busy that I would like to help him somehow and I told him that I know how to fill balloons. So long story a little shorter 2 hours later I put my plans on hold and helped the sweetest cashier I ever met for 2 hours. He kept his cool and composure through the roughest 2 hours of his life til another employee finally came in. Ask me if I would do it...
