If I could give a 0 I would. A couple of months ago, my boyfriend and I stopped in here to browse knives and work attire as he needed new pants for work. We used the restroom before we started to look at a few things, and an employee asked us if we needed help. This wouldn't have been an issue, but then she started to pass by the aisle we were in every time we moved on to a new aisle. She then asked us again, we said we were just browsing. As we went to look at clothing, I told my boyfriend I needed to use the restroom again, as I felt nauseated. After I was done and came back out, the manager was outside of the door and told me I needed to leave cause I made her uncomfortable. They also called a security code to the section my bf was in. She then said if I had anything that I needed to take it out and give it back, so I opened my bag and turned my pockets inside out to show her that I didn't take anything. She was dismissive and didn't listen to me and cut me off and told me to leave otherwise she would call the police. They then told my boyfriend he needed to leave as he was waiting in line to pay for items we wanted to purchase. I can understand that perhaps me using the restroom was an odd action to them, but they went about the situation absolutely the wrong way. It was such an embarrassing situation, because my boyfriend was excited to show me what they had. I didn't get the name of the manager but I wish I did, because something should be done, she is not fit to be managing the store in my opinion. I've considered taking further action, because as a customer I feel that I was profiled and received 0 respect. Read moreI visited the Goodyear CAL Ranch store to purchase an item and use their advertised price guarantee. When I attempted to price match with Chewy both the cashier and manager refused to honor the policy.
The cashier even gave me a look of disgust when I brought up the guarantee, and the manager's reasoning contradicted CAL Ranch's own written policy. First, I was told they don't honor other stores' sales. Which is false, as the policy clearly states otherwise. Then, after I showed them the policy directly, the manager took the last paragraph out of context taking about third party sellers (as in Amazon and ebay) and claimed that she wouldn't honor the price match guarantee that clearly stated that they would price match online retailers.
Whether this was a lack of understanding (which is honestly doubt because I have never had a problem price matching with Chewy at cal ranch before) or something personal (as I am a former employee who left due to this specific managers misconduct years ago), it's unacceptable to see a published guarantee dismissed in this way. I hope CAL Ranch will train staff to understand their own policies and treat all customers with professionalism and respect. Which has been a problem in the past.

While working with me a couple of other situations came up with some other customers and the way she handled everyone in order and a timely fashion was absolutely amazing! Her customer service skills are some of the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere! I was looking for a specific type of STIHL pole saw and it wasn’t in stock at the moment. Christine told me no problem let me reach out to her Rep and the other stores to locate one for you. Within 5 minutes she found one and had it ready to ship to our location. Watching the way she leads her store and deals with everyone and every situation with such positive energy and efficiency was a true sight. I firmly believe that Christine should be training other management and staff as much as possible because she is the single reason why I will always shop at her location. Before I go to homedepot other stores for my equipment and supplies I will always pop into her CAL Ranch store first.
