To the owners of Linway Plaza, I believe its a David Wright. I have no horse in this race. I and my family members have patronized business’s in Linway plaza for many many years. I understand there are differences between you and the new owners of the Oasis. It would be nice to welcome new investors and businesses in the community with welcome arms vs a retainment wall. This is a bad example to show any potential business leaders thinking of relocating or expanding to Goshen. Like I stated before, I have no horse in this race. No connections to either side. Up until today, I frequently patronized most of the businesses in your plaza. I realize my dollars are a minuscule amount. I have eaten at the new Oasis and it was awesome. The type of establishments we need more of in Goshen. I think the wall is very childish, asinine, and very unnecessary given the ample parking of Linway. Your not penalizing the new owners of Oasis. Your penalizing those in the community like myself. I’ll still patronize their restaurant even if it means walking. I will not patronize another Linway business until the wall is removed. Read moreWent here to see “Twisters” last night this was my first time here. We came to the latest movie which was at 7:45 the prices are INSANE! $10 a ticket and don’t get me started on the concession Stand prices! I got a medium popcorn and a small drink because it was too expensive to get anything larger! Walking into the movie it’s pretty big which I LOVE but what I hated was that the seats sit straight up lol I know it’s weird BUT you can kick your feet up onto the chair in front of you to hold your seat back to recline! If you don’t hold yourself up well you’ll be seating up super high and uncomfortable, hopefully that makes since! It was nice and loud which I love. I had to go use the restroom and they only have 2 stalls and they smelt TERRIBLE you walk in and smell nothing but urine very strong urine. So I didnt like that. The movie ended and they closed down all the doors but 1 door so it was a maze getting out we had to ask someone how to get out lol. So I’d say 3-10 because it was a big and loud theater but the price is ridiculous and the bathrooms were terrible! Watch the video it reminds me of a school maybe it was at one point...
Read moreUsed to be a really good theater but has really gone downhill after Covid which is understandable in a way. However the fact that refills used to be free then Covid hit and for obvious reasons free refills were not available and could cost $1 for a new bucket and drink cup, but now that every place is doing free refills again they are still charging you $1 for more popcorn and drinks. Which may not seem a lot but keep mind their food and drinks tend to be pricy, so it really feels like they’re trying to milk you from money. And the cleanliness has also gone down a lot from how it used to be and this is coming from someone who used to work there for a little bit. In general this used to be a great place to go, covid happened and it just hasn’t been the same. Last time I went to watch a movie here it also smelt like dead rats but it was one of the older theater rooms so maybe it’s just age. Really hope they can improve because they have the best popcorn and jalapeño salt out of all theaters I been to...
