2021 Update for Cinergy Reno:
Update is nice, not big city nice but a decent face-lift. New reclining chairs are very comfortable and it is nice to have an option to dine at your seat. That said, while the food is fairly priced, our hamburgers were cold - my wife had to send hers back to get it unfrozen. Even then, the food wasn't stellar. Concessions was extremely busy with a long line, and it is is clear they are still working out the kinks. The movie tickets themselves are nearly twice the price they used to be, and I'm not sure the new seats completely offset that cost. If you order online, expect a 'convenience fee' of $2 per ticket. We ordered at kiosk to avoid this, but after spending $80 for a family of four today, we couldn't help but feeling slightly disappointed.

Read moreThe cinema has changed ownership since COVID and sadly operating hours have changed. This isn't a be all end all since they advertise on school holidays they have extended hours. However they have closed unexpectedly for the day but still sell tickets online creating an issue with customers to show up to a closed theater with tickets to watch a showing that has been canceled. This is inconvenient enough but trying to contact either cinergy or the cinema itself to get a refund is like pulling teeth. You have to hope you call when the right manager is there and if you leave a message either online or at the theater you may not be contacted back. I have been trying to get a refund for over a month now as this has happened to me and work during the times they are opened and when I make time to try to get this resolved keep getting...

The concession line normally goes pretty fast during the day. Staff is friendly offered to take a photo of my son with a prop he wasn’t tall enough for so I could hold him up: also I asked to go back in the Theater to grab something I misplaced I didn’t ask for any help the women said, I’ll come with and pull all the seats up to make sure you find it that wasn’t needed I found it but she was ready to do whatever she could to help me find what I needed I honestly love this Theater.
