There's no quality control. I saw a few hamburger patties sit in a tray for a good 2 hours before being served instead of making fresh and tossing the old. Same with chicken tenders and steak fingers. Ice cream topping station was disgusting. Dried toppings on all the lids from the night before. Apparently they don't clean the lids every day. When they made food I only noticed 2 employees in 3 days actually wear gloves and rarely wash their hands. The rest just grabbed condiments and put them on burgers with bare hands or grabbed steak fingers with bare hands I also noticed that the GM Carol was eating on the line where ice creams are being made. Never saw her wash her hands after eating with her bare hands until much later. One guy Ronnie (her husband) had dandruff all over his shoulders. I can only imagine how much got in people's food considering nobody wears nets or hats 🤢 I didn't realize family were supposed to work together. It creates favoritism and personal issues in the work place. I'd also like to point out that it's run like a sweat shop. New management has to work 60 hours a week for a couple years until they "prove" themselves DQ worthy. On low end salary that's only $14 an hour. No breaks permitted whatsoever. So that's 60 hours a week standing and zero breaks to recover or catch your second wind lol. Not allowed to sit down at all. The GM Carol is pretty full of herself. She bragged about how she was one of the best training managers but in 3 days didn't do any training whatsoever. NONE! She pawned her responsibilities off to her employees. Would go sit in her car for 15 to 20 minutes a couple times during the shift while nobody else got a break all shift. Literally! A few minutes before opening time Carol just let a customer wait outside without acknowledging their existence until the customer drove off. That's so rude and very unprofessional. Could have at least said hello, we'll be open in just a moment. That could have been a potential sale. I feel that corporate and the state health department should really work...

My first impressions... Awesome. There's like a whole store on the inside with snacks and things to pick up. Then there's a fast food side and an ice cream side. Place is pretty busy. I went Friday and got banana fudge sundaes.
One male there in particular, short, dull, was less than useless and pretty much hid away rather than being proactive and taking responsibility. He directed us to another cashier who was already working with two others. Honestly don't know how he still has a job there with his lousy performance. He took our order finally and then didn't let the people making it know so we're waiting while nothing is taking place. others are being served while having ordered after ourselves. Then he starts literally yelling as his fellow associate and they banter back and forth until resolve. Point is, one man hindered the experience from being as good as possible. Plenty of potential here but don't go in the afternoon on a Friday is all I have to say, especially if dining in.
Like I said, lots of potential and I see the hype here with dairy Queen now, but it did take just one person to make that experience less than desirable.
One particularly good deal is 5 burger bag and with cheese, that costs about 8 dollars total. Really good value bag. I get them when I go there and they...
Read moreVery disappointed. The lady that took our order was very nice, friendly and courteous. The restaurant was relatively clean although I always check and looking at the ceilings there were a lot of panels stained from water leaks. I did not enter the bathrooms.
The restaurant was very slow, meaning very few people both inside and in the parking lot. I do not know about the drive through window.
Even with apparently so few people it took a while to get our order.
This is where my rating, particularly as regards the food comes in.
I ordered a "Spicy Patty Melt" and onion rings. The patty melt... Texas toast was only ever so slightly "toasted", the bread was soggy, the cheese was not melted, it was a very unsatisfying sandwich. The onion rings were "ok" but not great or even real good, just ok.
My complaint, and I guess this has turned into a complaint, is I don't like soggy bread in my burger, and I expect cheese to be melted and meal to be hot.
I realize the quality of the food depends on who is in the kitchen and different crews / shifts produce different qualities but again, I was disappointed and have no...
