I share a similar story with other apartment renters in that I needed an apartment in a hurry because of a job that brought me to Granbury unexpectedly. Although Lakehouse wasn't the first apartment complex I visited in Granbury, it was the best run and most well maintained...by a mile. And talk about friendly, the staff here was an absolute WONDER! These ladies really know their business and are as friendly as Texas sunshine. I knew the minute we started touring the complex that this place was going to be home. Sandra, the manager who showed me around, said hello to each resident she saw and knew each of them (and their dogs) by name. We must have run into at least half a dozen different people -- in that many buildings -- and she had something pertinent and friendly to say to each of them. I KNEW I WAS HOME. The complex is immaculately maintained by super friendly staff. I didn't see a stray Whataburger cup, cigarette butt or random piece of flotsam anywhere on the grounds during my tour, my move-in day or since. I've lived in more than a dozen apartment complexes all around the country (I'm a soldier), but nothing has compared to Lakehouse. Come see the Sandra or Colleen and let them show you why you don't need to look anywhere else. This...
Read moreWe moved there when it was called "The Reserve on Lake Granbury". The management was always really nice. They were all very competent except one. We saw many come and go but Amy and Beccah were my favorites. We lived there almost 8 yrs and were evicted because I wouldn't fill out a lease because I never paid one red cent in rent. My mother paid the rent every month before the end of the month EVERY MONTH. Never late. Always early. She paid all the other Bill's too. She didn't complain a terrible lot. Only about the ground cover along our patio. It was always dying and was receding terrible. They hardly watered it in that last summer we were there but that was due to a sprinkler they left unrepaired forever. They really evicted us cuz the rent used to be $1150 /mo. and they raised it to $1650/mo. Really I can't see how anyone could justify raising the rent that much higher. Those apartments are not worth that. I mean they are big but the windows didn't work. Some didn't open and the others wouldn't stay open on their own. A bunch of us at the that time moved. The manager at the time was Sandra who is gone now from what I hear but she could have been nicer. You can only sell your soul to the devil once. I don't think she got her souls worth since...
Read moreUPDATE: me along with several other people have reached out to management and RPM living and received no help. Simply dismissed. Apparently if you’re a guest here your complaint isn’t valid. Ownership edited their review from “ guest and residents safety” to just residents after my initial post. Like someone mentioned in a previous review this place gets a bad review then all these fake five star reviews pop up after , I have screen recordings of it happening in real time. This place is fraud and unsafe.
I was one of the many, many people who saw what horrible events took place while visiting this apartment complex on Memorial Day. Everything that happened, could have and should have been prevented. Unfortunately I saw post online of their own staff, getting the person who did all of the damage, highly intoxicated!!! Wow. Be careful while living here it...
