Grand Haven Lighthouse Connector Park — Attraction in Grand Haven

This place is beautiful and well maintained. Have been there several times, always a nice place for walking and enjoying the view. Unfortunately this last visit (April 3rd, 2021), we felt unsafe and uncomfortable: the number of visitors was significant, but almost nobody was wearing face covering. We are still in the middle of a pandemic, and while we all need to finally get out and back to some kind of "normal life," we cannot simply pretend that the risk doesn't exist anymore. There were hundreds of visitors, of all ages, a crowd walking to and from the lighthouse, and we only saw 2 couples wearing face masks. We had to go back to a less crowded area. No...

Nice little place to pull off the road and stop to stretch feet. Very beautiful location. Can watch the boats going out and comming in through the channel,.can watch people walking fhe boardwalk.. it can be used as a parkung place to take a stroll down the boardwalk yourself. Just realize, it will probbably be full when you arrive. Just wait your turn for a spot and you will be rewardwd with a really great place to start your adventure for the day. Take in all the sights you can see and enjoy the area. It foest grt much betters than Grand Haven...

The Lighthouse Connector Park is part of the Grand River Boardwalk, which stretches from the Coast Guard Station to the lighthouses. There are limited parking spaces across the street from Butches Beach Burritos, with both stair and wheelchair accessible entries to the boardwalk. This area is perfect for watching the sunset directly behind the lighthouses during October/November and February/March, or catching the freighters as they enter or leave the channel.
