Kitchel/Lindquist/Hartger Dunes Preserve — Attraction in Grand Haven

Primitive trail in the winter! Which I was hoping for… a challenging walk 👍🏻. However, as of this review (1/26/25) at least two trail maps do not have the “You Are Here” stickers on the signs. Very quiet when I came here late on a Sunday afternoon, not much wildlife or birds, there were some in the trees but very difficult to see but also wrong time of day. Paths are very well marked but mostly sand so some can be a bit hard going underfoot. I did find it very peaceful though despite the lack of action.
