Pier Peddler — Restaurant in Grand Haven

Rip off, I got two kid size soft serve ice cream and they charged me $14!!!!! So unorganized, I don't think this kid even knew what he was doing at register. They were spurting numbers at him, and he was just doing it. The prices they were given people were all over the place. I know how much overhead there is on ice cream, I used to own an ice cream shop. I expect a higher price being at Grand Haven Beach, but this was off the charts. That was to the point of unethical. A family should be able to enjoy the beach and go get some ice cream and not have to pay as much as they would for A meal a four at a fast food restaurant. Definitely won't be back. I should have let him keep the ice cream and just walked out, but I will say it was busy, but being close to the beach they should be used...

This place is not what it used to be. I have never spent more money for so little ice cream. When you get a waffle cone you expect to get ice cream in the cone. I got a single, but it was the smallest scoop I have ever seen….on the cone. It was 100% empty outside of the tiny scoop on top.

Great ice cream and a beautiful view from outside! A little on the pricey side for ice cream, but they do give you a generous amount in each scoop! I also like that they allow you to sample the flavors...
