Grand Haven Farmers Market — Local services in Grand Haven

We visited the Grand Haven Farmer’s Market at Chinook Pier this morning. It is a smaller farmers market but they do have vendors like a cheese vendor, bread vendor, flower vendor, as well as fruit and vegetable vendors. The vendors were a little sparse today. There is parking here as well as adjacent. We rode our bikes and there is a place to lock up your bikes. I was looking for some jalapeños and there was a very limited supply so I’ll need to wait a little to see if the supply will be better later or maybe look at other farmers markets. A wonderful Farmer's Market! Highlights for me were The Cheese People, a huge Wisconsin cheese selection. I got a Brie layered with apricot and honey, a pistachio roll, Oaxacan style string cheese and an aged Gouda. Also, the MF Seasoning Co. has these darling seasoning samplers. I got their Salt Blend, Pepper Kracj, Wild Porcini Salt, Sangrita Krystals and Sweet Lime Berry Salt. Also excited about Salt & Fire a West Michigan Sausage Company. Fantastic variety of fresh local produce, freshly baked bread, flowers, sweet treats, world-class cheese, and many varieties of mushrooms. We plan our camping trip specially to make a Saturday Market. I absolutely love it. Bring a couple of big shopping tote bags to haul your goodies because...
