Bassett Furniture — Attraction in Grand Junction

ATTENTION VETERANS... I am a United States Navy Retired disable veteran. I have purchased a reclining sofa and love seat at the Grand Junction Colorado Bassett Furniture. After it arrived I was not able to get comfortable on it. I attempted to exchange it for something more comfortable but I was insulted by being offered a pillow to make it more comfortable. I have had two back surgeries and I need something that reclines to give me comfort. The maintenance manager came to my home and sat on it as well. He confirmed that it was not a very comfortable recliner. Your Customer Service Corporate Office is not willing to be my advocate and get Grand Junction to replace my furniture. I am not requesting a refund, I was simply wanting what the Warranty states, an in Store Credit. As I have already stated the store Management only offered me a pillow, which I find to be absolutely insulting. I am sure that the Bassett Corporation does not want to be known as anti-Disabled Veteran. Update 02/18/20 The response below from Steven was very misleading, sure he wanted to talk to me and get this review removed. He was even more insulting after he called me. He said that he would be more than happy to refund me 50 percent of what I spent for the furniture. Mind you, that I have had the furniture now for less than 2 months! He said that is what he offers anyone who is dissatisfied with the products. Had I known that, I would have purchased my furniture at COSTCO where I know for a fact that they take it...

My husband and I stopped in to see the showroom in Grand Junction. Mackenzie helped us out. She gave us plenty of freedom to stroll around and checked on us as we perused the different options. After finding a few pieces, we were concerned how they would fit into our home. We bought a sectional and two lounge chairs. Mackenzie offered to create a floor plan using our home dimensions and even showed us different layouts we could consider. Once our order was ready, the delivery drivers brought it out and did an absolutely great job. They took special care of our home and new furniture. They were super personable and had great customer service. I think the only thing you might be forewarned about, it this furniture is high quality and beautiful, you will want to redo every room in your home. We recently moved to the area and needed to furnish our home. After an exhausting 1,000 mile move, we needed help putting it all together. Joey, Linda and the entire staff did a great job helping us. We went to Bassett because we knew we wanted quality furnishings. They did not just sit in the store and try to sell us stuff.
