Nomad Bowlz — Local services in Orchard Mesa

In the last year or so I’ve become especially drawn to ALL things smoothie bowls so I was so excited when I found this food truck at the Sunday farmers market in Palisade. I can honestly say they are not only the best smoothie bowls on the western slope, but the best I’ve found in Colorado. The smoothie base is apparently very important to the overall taste and they seem to have nailed it. Plus they come up with some of the best seasonal specials (Pumpkin Pie was to die for). I chose this based on the high reviews however, I went out of my way, to a very strange place, following the directions to the supposed location, only to find that there was absolutely nothing resembling a food truck there. I arrived there at 12:15 p.m., well within business hours. I do not know if this is a fault on the part of Google maps or on the part of Nomad Bowlz, regardless, driving to a vague location only to learn that The business you were looking for is nowhere to be found, leaves rather a bad taste in one's mouth. I feel that it is only fair to let people know they may find only disappointment...

I really enjoyed the product, often going out of the way to pick up for myself and family. However they don’t honor the punch card. This year alone we have spent several hundred dollars on these items. I ended up with several partially completed cards. At the end of the season I went to get at least one reward using a card with 11/12 punches and a single punched card. I have several others partially filled. The employee wouldn’t combine. It’s the end of their season. I’m leaving the area. When I come back I will definitely not go back nor will my family members. I’m learning to make...
