First thing to know about Old Friends Trading is it's the sister store to the one in Cortez (Notah Dineh, that has been in business for 57 years). It's been on main street since May of 2017, and is still going strong. Not only does it have a pleasant selection for unique gift ideas, but by far has been the best shop in Grand Junction for AUTHENTIC Native American items including jewelry & art--- Items you can't find online; at least not knowing if it's the real deal. They explained how a lot of the jewelry was made and all the neat uses that the original Native Americans had for them. Everything is Handmade by Native Americans.
