Love this place! I've been twice now, once with my husband and this past weekend my mom was in town so we went together. It's so much fun to pick out your own scents and create a candle that matches exactly what you want. The process is really easy and they guide you through every step, from picking out your scents to helping you decide which ones go together. They have a ton of fun candle jars to choose from, and they are priced very reasonably. You can expect to pay between $20-30 for most of the styles, with burn times ranging from 60-90 hours. The only caveat that I think people should know before they go is that you need to plan ahead to either be able to come back the next day to pick up your candle or have enough time before the store closes to come back because it takes a couple hours for your candle to solidify enough...

Candle Kitchen is my #1 suggestion to anyone who asks what is there to do in GJ? My husband and I go for a fun date, my cousin and I go to get some girl time, a great place to host a little get together or bday! The staff is so pleasant, cheery and helpful! I highly recommend Kathy, she is so sweet and always makes the experience very personal! Now I could go on and on about this place, but I’ll make it short. Candle Kitchen does a variety of DIY candles, lotion, room spray/mist, soy wax melts and has the biggest fragrance collection I’ve ever seen!!! (& I’m a soap maker) They have lots of adorable containers and even candle bundles and wax melt bundles. This is a great place to go to relax, be crafty and enjoy yourself! 10/10...

Oh my gosh, if you're looking for a fun, creative environment that is relaxing and invigorating at the same time, this is your place! I have found engaging my sense of smell in such a particular way reawakens all the senses in my body. Then the candles I come home with are so delightful and a reminder of the time spent dabbling with a little drop here and a little drop there. It's really a special time to spend with friends or family but this particular visit was with my granddaughter! It's fun to discover what others put together for an amazing one-of-a-kind scent. Volcano is my particular favorite. The name scared me so I never tried it but my granddaughter...
