Operation Revamp, Inc - Veterans Art Center — Attraction in Grand Junction

Have you heard of this local non-profit supporting veterans in the community? If not, run don’t walk to check them out and show support.

They always need: volunteers donations for the roof replacement/repair awareness to come shop for leather goods, local art, signage, plants, jewelry, soaps and more.

For Veterans, this is a place to create, laugh, and connect, telling tales of times since lost. To find community in an otherwise disconnected world. As one of the youngest and newest vets to attend local art classes, I can say from first hand experience, these guys are lifesavers.

Staff Observations: Wendy is a highly respected and talented local artist bringing so much to the organization. She maneuvers the complexity of the business world with grace and professionalism. Dallas is also highly creative, tells the best stories, and truly knows what it’s like to “endure the suck” but make it entertaining. David (not your typical doorman), hides among the plants keeping a watchful eye over many behind the scenes administration. The quietest and kindest face around. Then there’s the youngest (up-and-coming) CEO, Aeric, who never fails to bring youthful enlightment to people of all ages.
