I have been here several times to order a veggie bagel, very simple it’s a plain bagel with veggie spread, lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber and melted cheese that’s it. Each time something on it is wrong. Normally I just eat it and go on my way but at 11 plus dollars I decided that today I would bring it to their attention that they put bacon on it. I am a vegetarian, I NEVER order bacon. I went up to ask them if they could remake it seeing as how it was smushed into both sides of my cream cheese and the girl simply said well can’t you just take it off? No I can’t I replied, I paid for something and I would like it corrected. They remade it and once again it was wrong the bagel they had put is on was incorrect and the cheese was just thrown on cold not melted. I’m a bit frustrated because this isn’t the first time this has happened and now it’s happening twice within a few minutes, I tell her once again, you all have made this wrong again kinda laughing because really how hard is this? Her reply… you can’t talk to me this way! Excuse me? Needless to say I left before blowing up. I just threw it out and left. The staff can be very rude there idk how hard it is to read a recipe with a bagel order on it but apparently it requires a phd. They could definitely use a course in customer service and appreciation. The food is really good though when it’s right so idk try it out and see...

The worst bagel shop I've ever been to. And the most expensive. 10000% not worth the hype or the price. The table we sat at was so sticky. Tried moving to another and they were all either dirty or sticky. We had 3 bagels, 2 large coffees and an orange shake thing. $60.00. 2 of the bagels were their egg sandwich things. Both were missing the extras we paid for. Mine ended up picking out with egg, cheese, tomato and artichoke hearts. I don't know how they did it, but there was absolutely no flavor. It was the most bland one note thing I've ever eaten. The other was the same. Somehow a bagel with onion tasted like nothing. The 3rd was just a bagel and cream cheese. There was just over an inch of cream cheese piled on there. Couldn't taste the bagel at all. The coffee was dumped in the trash after 2 sips - both of them. Undrinkable. Burnt and just awful. The orange smoothie drink was basically orange juice and yogurt blended up. By the time we finished eating it had separated and again, bland and gross. Would not recommend this place. Have no idea how it is so busy and so popular.

Edit for reply: We were there the...

This place has great bagels but what draws us in are the cinnamon rolls. Last time we were in town they had a raspberry cream cheese cinnamon that was phenomenal. For the week prior to coming down we had been looking forward to that raspberry cinnamon roll but unfortunately it was not their current specialty flavor. If you know Grand Junction, Palisade is a short drive away and known for their peaches and they are some of the best peaches you'll ever have. Well the specialty flavor is peach right now since they are in season. They look amazing. Haven't had a chance to eat them yet as the family is still sleeping but I'm told they're amazing and knowing how great the rest of the products are, I trust they'll be as good as the raspberry. I'll update when we eat them. These peach cinnamon rolls are as fabulous as the raspberry, might even love them more. They were soft and chewy, not over baked and dry like some bakeries. There was two of us, we bought 4 and they were gone within a couple of hours. The traditional cinnamon rolls ate great too...but their specialty flavors are...

My friend and I recently did a road trip from Las Vegas to Grand Junction and we were lucky enough to visit Main Street Bagels twice. Once for lunch and again for breakfast. Our first visit was on our first full day as we were looking to eat at a local business and happened to come upon Main Street. I had the turkey/cranberry sandwich for lunch and it one of the best tasting sandwiches I have had. The sweetness worked well with the savory. The day we were leaving to head home, we stopped in first thing in the morning to have breakfast. I had the scrambagel with ham on a garlic bagel. The bagel itself was good as the outside had a crunchy texture with a soft inside. Overall the service was friendly and the main store is connected to an annex that also works as an art gallery as well as an additional place to eat. They do have outdoor seating as well for when the weather cooperates. Definitely on my list to come back to when I visit Grand Junction again.

I was super excited about this place, they had live music outside, patio seating, the indoor space was cute with lots of plants and vintage accents on the interior. The bagels looked/smelled great. I ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It looked great but once I started eating it I had to completely discard the tomato and lettuce. Typically when I order bagels with lettuce it’s usually iceberg but it was a spring mix and was super slimy and old. A lot of it was brown and slimy on the edges and the tomato was so overripe it was just mush. ): it ruined my appetite and I was sad that I paid extra ($1 for a slice of tomato) for gross toppings.
