I used to eat here once a week in college. The food was fantastic and I loved it but something changed since then. The sesame chicken was soggy, the beef and broccoli had no flavor but thankfully the fried rice is what I remember and it was delicious. The atmosphere is quite dismal. It is a very rundown building that does not have great upkeep. The inside is dirty and outdated. The people are fantastically nice and very friendly. It's too bad the quality has gone down over the years.

You're to come here all the time, but stopped because everytime I would get food, there would be hair in my food, tried to give it another shot last night, but still hair in my food

I used to eat at this place at least three times a month and tell everyone about it. After today I will no longer support their business. It's usually the female owner scooping food, but today it was the bald headed man. I never paid attention to how many scoops of food they count for each little compartment of the container. He kept asking me how many scoops and I said I didn't know and to just fill the lower half of the container with noodles like normal. He huffed in frustration, slammed my container down, and moved on to the next customer. The female owner came over to finish my order and explain how many scoops they count. I told her I didn't know that before.

So it's on me that I should've known how much they count as a scoop, but it was completely uncalled for that I got treated the way I did. It's not going to hurt their business that I don't return, but I still wanted to share my experience with everyone so you know how the male owner treats people. I'll spend more money somewhere else just to...

The Good: Inexpensive menu options for those on a budget. It's quick Subway style ordering. Good size portions. The best part is the honey cakes.

The Bad: The food is not fancy and has just the basics... You got your beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, lo mein, egg rolls, etc... buffet style... They serve for you. Communication may be difficult if you stray off the basic ordering procedure or have questions.

Overall I guess you can go there, but there are a large number of Chinese/Asian restaurant in the area... They don't stand out... And I don't think they care to.

Say hello to the golden waving cat while you're there.

I would recommend this place for a quick pile of egg rolls if you only have...

I’ve been coming to Chopstix Express since my college years, and to this day, they never disappoint. It’s one of those places that might not look fancy from the outside, but it’s stood the test of time for a reason. The food has always hit the spot—fresh, flavorful, and comforting. Every visit brings a bit of nostalgia for me. It holds a special place in my heart, kind of like a piece of my youth wrapped up in takeout boxes and sesame chicken.

Yes, it’s a little run down, but honestly, that’s part of its charm. They’ve been here for so long, and that consistency is rare nowadays. If you’re looking for flashy, go elsewhere—but if you want food that’s reliably delicious and a local spot with heart,...
