Low standards and poor customer service. I ordered an arrangement over the phone from Rogue River Florist right before Christmas for my boyfriend's parents. I knew the area was having weather problems. When I called and spoke to Sandy, she confirmed that they had power and still had plenty of flowers. When it sounded as if they may not have enough flowers to make a larger arrangement, I selected a smaller one from a picture on the website as Sandy and I looked at the website together. The website picture showed 5 large roses, some spray roses (smaller), carnations, and some evergreen with a decorative vase. Sandy told me they would replace spray roses (they were running low) with other flowers to raise the value to what I was paying. My boyfriend sent me pictures of the arrangement that arrived and it was a horrific mishmash of a few carnations, 2 roses, and evergreen branches sticking out all over the place jammed in a container. When I called to complain, Sandy said she could send out a few more roses but it looked fine to her when it went out and she did not believe it only had 2 roses. She was unfriendly, unhelpful, and unwilling to make it right. She actually said to me, "This is crazy! They looked fine to me." I said they should send an alternative arrangement but her excuse was that they did not have another decorative vase that she claimed cost $25. She was not willing to sacrifice another glass vase to replace the arrangement. I offered to let the driver take the ugly arrangement and put the new arrangement in the alleged $25 vase. It's 2 days later, the additional roses have not been sent so far. It's pretty pitiful and surprising for a small town.
Summary: Go to any other florist or go through a big company so you have some recourse. If you use this florist, consider yourself forewarned. They have pitifully low standards for flower arrangements and customer service and will not deliver what is pictured on their website. Also, their delivery charges are higher than advertised on...
Read moreRogue Florist and Gifts did an AWESOME job with my flower order! I ordered a flower arrangement from out of town for a funeral of a dear friend in Grants Pass that we were not able to travel to. I called on Saturday, and Haley took my call, and was EXTREMELY helpful in choosing an arrangement that would work well. With Haley's skillful experience, she kindly suggested some ideas that she thought would look nice, and she came up with the perfect combination of beautiful flowers and a beautiful vase, also, and a card with a personal message on it. Her ideas on what would be nice were much better than anything that I could have come up with, and she was so helpful and kind! I would also like to complement Alexis, also, who took a follow up call from me yesterday,, and was kind and helpful, also. Haley emailed a receipt of the transaction, and also emailed me a notice that the flowers were delivered this morning at 9:45 am, as promised. Awesome work by Haley, and Alexis, and the entire Rogue's team! I highly recommend them for all of your flower needs, also. I know that you will be pleased with their beautiful flower arrangements, and skillful...
Read moreI bought a sympathy arrangement that really missed the mark. I wanted to start off with the positive that the customer service via phone was fantastic. Answered on first ring, answered all my questions and something I wanted swapped out was no extra charge and I wasn't rushed.
The issue is I paid for the premium bouquet which arrived and did not look as good as the standard photo (mich less than the premium). I thought maybe they counted flower by flower, but there were not as many flowers as the photo after counting either and they swapped the stargazers with callas which are not the same price.
I emailed to thank them for the customer service but explained I wasn't happy with what arrived for $110. I asked for an explanation of how this was charged premium if not for additional flowers... No response so now I have to file a chargeback with my bank for the amount that was a premium cost.
I would have at least appreciated an email response when this was for a sympathy arrangement for a group of people...
