The Wonder Bur Steakhouse & Lounge — Restaurant in Grants Pass

Our dinner was incredible. My husband and I each had the sirloin and added house salads, my daughter had the B.L.A.T. (bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado).

First off, the lemonade is delicious. Almost every other restaurant only offers Minute Maid (which is awful), but that's definitely not what they are serving here - the lemonade at Wonder Bur is not overly sweet, which I appreciate.

My salad was awesome... love their blue cheese.

My steak was beyond amazing. I'm honestly not a steak and potatoes kind of girl, but that's what I ordered, and I'm glad I did. Well seasoned steak; no need for steak sauce, or other modification. Mashed potatoes, so yummy.

Holy heck you guys... This place really has it going on. You've GOT to try it. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants!

THIS IS NOT THE WONDER BUR EVERYONE KNEW ........ Keeping the name and Hiking the prices, as well as doing away with decent drinks is a joke!!! Used to be a great place until new management took over. We were thrilled to hear they were open again as we had heard they permanently closed. Went in for lunch 4/27/2024 and they had gotten rid of the booths and just made 2 giant long benches with several tables placed side by side. So forget about having your meal or personal conversation without the people next to you being literally elbows reach away. The burgers used to the about $8-$10 now they want $14-$20+. Used to be the best drinks around. Was told you could have 1 oz shot with some mixer. Then they offered a beer. Couldn't even tell us what beers they had available. All around...

The venue is like any standard dive bar, pool table, gambling machines, cheap drinks, the service was zero star.

The bar tender ignored us, was generally very inattentive. Took asking for or change back four times before he finally did after round one. Waking up to the bar to order a second round, I noticed him playing with a potato behind the bar, looked like he was coloring on it. He goes to the back comes back out ignores me as I'm obviously trying to order a drink and make eye contact with him. He kept at it with this potato, it wasn't until he raised it to his lips and blew through it that I realized what was going on. He just made a pipe out of a potato rather than do his job. We left immediately after and will not be returning. I love a dive bar, but that was underwhelming...
