The Kitchen Company — Attraction in Grants Pass

I was really upset with the customer service I received with my most recent visit. I have typically come here during the holidays to get really wonderful, useful and unique gifts for friends and family. I made a purchase about a week ago and decided I wanted to go get another one since it would make a wonderful gift for my mom as well. When I went in, the 3 employees were too busy in their conversation and when I asked for help to find something they looked at me like I was disturbing them. One woman broke away from the conversation and came to look for the product with me. While we were looking for the item, one of the other employees came over and told her that they needed to go outside to take a photo, even though she was clearly in the middle of helping a customer find something. The employees all went outside to take a photo instead of finishing to help me find a product. I asked the woman who stayed at the register if she could get the product back in for me to which she told me no and that they would only make special orders of $5,000 or more. Really???? I will have to go find this product elsewhere. I usually like to keep my business small and local, but unfortunately it will not be at The Kitchen...

I received such WONDERFUL, over-the-top customer service at the Kitchen Company! (Honestly this a belated review I meant to leave 6 months ago, but I'm still thinking about it so am finally writing it now). I went in looking for advice on choosing a quality knife as a birthday present for my partner - one of their employees kindly and thoroughly walked me through what types of knife she would suggest for greatest utility, and then helped me compare many different chef knife models explaining their differences and price points. When I finally settled on one, one of the owners stocking knives nearby said "oh, pull out the different boxes we have of that model to let her compare the wood grain designs in the handles" (!), which the employee happily did for me. Once I selected my favorite she finished it off by wrapping it up in some beautiful paper and curled ribbons since it was a present. Everyone felt so genuinely happy to help me during my entire visit, I felt well-informed, not pressured to buy something more expensive, and never rushed! 10 Stars to the Kitchen Company, thanks for your true customer...

I went to there store 1-15-2022 to get myself a toaster I walk in and a lady instantly started coming down one of the isle’s yelling excuse me excuse me repeatedly I stopped and she says the store has a mandatory mask order I told her the CDC his not enforcing that at this time she has this basket of mask unwrapped open approximately 50 all stack up on top of each other and says to me put one of these on I’m thinking to myself this is a air born virus here are these unprotected mask in this basket that she wants me to wear I told that was ridiculous and that wasn’t going to happen and left went to Walmart picked Up a four slice unit for 24$ so munch for me ever to return to there...
